You can mint a maximum of 3fsa properties each day and a total of ten for the lifetime of your account. No limit to the number of non fsa properties you can mint.

I believe the staking requirement is for all spark that originates within upland, not from ethereum

Yk won't you need a good chunk of ETH to either move sparklet from your metamask to an exchange or move sparklet to Upland from your metamask, to pay the gas fees? I can see a lot of people withdrawing their sparklet and then getting it stuck because they have no ETH.

@Joziprop I'm not sure what gas Fee's are costing these days. Last time I used Ethereum was a few years ago. Fee's then cost between $30 - $120 worth of ETH depending on how busy the chain was.

Gas fees are paid in upx. When you try and transfer something out of upland it will tell you the gas fees in upx

@UplandGuide withdrawing from upland yes, but once it's in your metamask gas fees will be paid in ETH. If you haven't got ETH in your metamask you won't be able to either move it to an exchange to sell or move it back to Upland. Unless you can send it straight from Upland to an exchange but then there's no need for step 2 of your 3 steps.

If I’m not mistaken, uploading something back to upland will have gas fees in upx. But ya, if you want to do something with it on Ethereum, you will need eth.

I agree that the airplanes are highly speculative. As for the commercial transit aspect of it, even that isn’t guaranteed or outlined. It’s not clear to me yet why people really need airplanes. This video was just sharing a thought of how it COULD be useful.

Well actually UPX is not even with a dollar amount. People who buy items in Upland will pay 2x. So if I buy a property for 100k UPX it will be sold for 50$ USD. It is actually a bad idea to buy UPX from the store because you lose half the value at purchase.

If you look at every property just based on its mint price then yes - plenty of cheap properties that you would probably lose on if you are a seller. There are however plenty of nodes and other neighborhoods where you can make quite a nice return. There absolutely is an abundance of worthless properties in Upland. The trick is knowing how to identify the valuable ones, and more importantly how to create value.

@@UplandGuideok but that has nothing to do with my statement. If you buy 100k UPX for 100$ it is counter productive. I can get the same amount for 50$… why would I pay double. It goes to the section of the video where you said 100k UPX is the same as 100$. This is simply not true and who ever is buy UPX directly from the shop is losing half their money at purchase…

Not really. You must burn a totem and evolution potion in order to get a different totem (that would be upgraded)

This is true, but don't forget that just about all other games can also "shut down their servers" but in those games you don't have any opportunity to earn money. Thats what separates Upland from the others. There are still people spending loads of money on games where aside from entertainment value, they get nothing out of it.
