Hi Janny very nice diy idea for winter decor . The project will be stronger if you don’t put hot glue on top of the wood glue, leave an area of raw wood to add the hot glue if you’re using both types of glue. Great diy 😊🎄🪵

I love ur fireplace too. I made one from the crafty shopper but I took those sticky tiles from dollar tree that looks like a stone wall n covered all the blocks it turned out really pretty.
