Good lord,....I saw Sparks in the early 70's at The Santa Monica Civic in Los Angeles. Good Grief ,.....I must be old now. Very,...very old. God save me. They were great. i still have some of their albums. Remember what an "Album" is? Those round black things you played on a Turntable with a tone arm and a scratchy stylus?

Giorgio Moroder was already very famous for his international productions at the time; of that album by the Mael brothers that he produced, I love the mix versions of "Beat 'o clock" and "Tryouts for the human Race", a sound that influenced the musical trend of the following decade

Винил вернулся! У нас в СССР очень популярным был альбом 1983 года "In Outer Space " А лично я когда был в армии научился играть на гармошке песню из этого альбома "Popularity "! И это было очень круто!👍🙂

@@granttalibard8232 Not my point, but thanks for contributing. Usually, "edgy" culture from the US just means violent. I know there is an avant garde in America, thankfully. It just seems amazing compared to the overwhelming output of derivative, bottom-scraping, committee manufactured, commodified bullshit that is US culture.
