No, they were raised Catholic. Their mom was Jewish by birth. I do not know whether she was practicing before she married their dad. Her name was Moskowitz.

According to 'Setlist.FM' it was played in a concert first time 1995, December 20 at The Forum, London. This must be from a Radio show, and my GUESS is that could be around the same Christmas.
