Sparks is a band that actually connects to an audience. When you see them, it is like you are seeing two people who you can go have drinks with at the bar and they would actually be happy to see you and want to talk to you. May they always be at the top of their game and continue to take each of us to Cool Places!

Sparks is the best reflection of LA ever! Such a shame I didn't realise that when I lived there. Then it would have been a so much more cheerful city for me!

Ron can speak and smile and he has a sense of humor.

I know right! It seems like such a rarity just to hear Ron speak! There are so few short clips of him speaking in interviews on youtube.

@@dave11061 True there are very few but when you come across one, Ron really comes off as a pretty grounded normal guy apart from his stage character.

@@cycologist7069 Walking off stage after a live show I was smiling ear to ear and cheering, looking at Ron and he smiled back! Thought I'd done something wrong! Hahaha

Many years ago in Munich , the saddest moment when there was a concert and the concerhall was half empty 😭😭😭 But the concert was amazing, as always ❤️❤️❤️

I've seen them a good number of times. I'll say that the Big Beat tour was a nadir.

I don't know why they're compared to Gilbert and George, they're brothers, not a gay couple.

They made it in England,USA didn’t want to know them so stuff the sentiment, seen them in 1974 in Liverpool ,great artists ,a good English band, although not by birth,so never turn your back on Mother Earth.

Sparks were huge in Australia too! Same with ABBA, Slade and to a point Black Sabbath and Uriah Heep and many others with awful reviews (including Led Zeppelin when Vol 1 came out) in Rolling Stone mag.

Robert Powell Hey Robert, I went to the same show you did in Liverpool back at the Empire Theatre in 1974 too ! I was 14 and it was the first concert I ever went to, although you couldn’t stop me after that. I had the Kimono My House album and soon after I went to Rushworth and Drapers music store and ordered Sparks first two albums ‘Sparks’ and ‘ A Woofer In Tweeters Clothing’ My musical life was never the same again !
