So Sparky was released because he was streaming, I wonder what non-streamer players should do if they got banned because of the same reason.

@@a2j04vm0 I’d imagine if they have some kinda clip killing a person who had the gear and or further “investigation” might show they got the loot via kill they’ll be unbanned Sparkykawa has it all recorded so he got unbanned quickly due to easy and visible evidence

I was perma banned for no reason. They dont care if your not a streamer. They ignored my ban appeal and didnt reply to my email either. Literally just reached in my pocket and stole my 30 bucks essentially. Me and my friends tried to brainstorm why. I wasnt cheating i have no idea how to do that. I wasnt being toxic. No weird account names. No teaming in high roller. I got banned while mining ore in a sub 25 gear score game alone. I didnt have a single named or unique item in any of my character stashes.

@@kanekii8851doesn’t matter they hwid ban after first offense now. I’m in the same boat. 750 hours played got ban for apparent software running but support could not name the software. But they indeed ban additional accounts now after first offense most of the time.

@@DudeSoWin Yup! When you cheat you go all out or don't do it at all. They were bodyguards to prevent 3rd parties and corral people over to him in a controlled manner. Didn't work in this case though since he picked a shit spot to swing a 2h axe around lol...

Not surprising. Every studio seems to do this. Playing Ark Survival Ascended, our whole tribe got banned for raiding cheaters and taking their loot to our base. It was duped loot, but they had so little loot none of it screamed duped. we knew they cheated, but figured it was just their aimbots and speedhacks. They reported us to their POCKET DEV for having t heir duped loot, instant ban. Any attempt at trying to have a discussion about the ban and why it wasn't fair was met with a copy-pasted response, ended with a "This won't be reviewed, all future tickets will be auto closed" and the ticket getting immediately closed.

I love game dev logic. "We left a defect in our game so we're banning you for finding out about it". Instead of just rolling back all illegitimate gains and fixing it.

i don't think its an illegitimate gain if you kill a dupe user and loot their kit. you fought them at disadvantage and outplayed them so you deserve the kit. because you know you risked your own stuff to get that kit.

@@grimmow187, but it's still duped loot. The point is that a rollback should have happened to whenever the duping was started to avoid these issues, or at the very least just wiped, because you do get these scenarios where you kill someone with the duped loot and then get punished for it.

Thats crazy. I got banned for absolutely no reason end of last wipe. When I appealed it they flat out ignored my emails and left me perma banned. No cheats no teaming no toxicity. Literally just banned for playing druid in sub 25

how are you using your spells and dont need to switch to melee attacks for sorcerer? is it cause of the longsword and it not being able to cast spells compared to the crystal sword? with my sorcerer i have to switch to melee attack from spells

It should be pointed out that the player's who minted those items are NOT necessarily the dupers. The could have been found by legit players and either looted from them or sold to dupers. Hopefully Ironmace sorts this out soon.

If you think about it, is logic that a company prioritize streamers because they are a asset which are doing marketing about there product(in this case the game) for free mostly. If you were a dev, you boss gonna tell you to put X person in a "white list" that you need to attend in less them 24 hours or less in case of a problem.
