For all of you senior golfers, what Phillip is teaching is the key to playing golf in a way that will allow you to continue playing for years to come. The secret is swinging in a relaxed manner. Here in Arizona, golfing in very warm conditions can feel like the Batan death march if you are swinging the club with a strangle hold on the grip, out of balance, and too much tension in your arms and shoulders. Instead of finishing a round feeling tired, the Easiest Swing method has you walking off of the 18th green still feeling like you could easily play another 9 holes. I am finding much more enjoyment in my game today than I ever had prior to finding the Easiest Swing. I score better and I feel better. I may not look like the young bucks with a pro style swing, but I don’t look like the guys that swing out of their shoes and look like they are chopping wood. If you are a senior, try it. I think you will like it a lot.

What a wonderful testament- thank you!🙏 more and more golfers are coming to this conclusion. It is just mind blowing for golfers who have spent years being convinced that golf is difficult to discover that it doesn’t have to be!! I too would love to wind the clock back 50 years to discover how good I could have become if I had discovered this then! Play well & stay well 👍

Question about the new book - does it get into the specifics of instruction on the swing mechanics or more focused on the philosophy behind the swing? I need a driving range companion and videos are hard to watch at the range:)
@Easiestswing3 ай бұрын
There is plenty about how to improve your swing avoiding the three deadly don’ts and incorporating the six basics. There is much about the philosophy and also how to improve and strengthen your mental game. It will help you to reduce tension and discover your own Easiest Swing. I hope you get a lot from reading it.

Another great video Phil for we, senior golfers! I like the idea of turning out the right toe a bit and even pulling back the right leg somewhat. The Le' Dance move that you recommended using for weight transfer is excellent! Glad I found your book and your channel! Well Done Sir!

Had a long conversation with Brian about one length irons and he was strongly considering incorporating this into the easiest swing. I finally bought an immaculate set very cheap off a well known auction site. Had 9 holes with them last night and then took them out in one of our club major competitions where I placed third. These have got to be great for the easiest swing , same ball position and no bending over, what do you think? As Brian said, always breaking rules.
@Easiestswing3 ай бұрын
Yes indeed he thought in particular that short irons were difficult for a lot of seniors due to the extra bend required he played with a set of one length irons that Ping made specially for him. Unfortunately they are not interested in putting them into production but we are talking to other manufacturers and maybe one day will have a solution. 🤞well done on your success keep it going!

Perhaps a misconception on my part. A lot of tuition promotes tilting in the backswing. Your backswing appears quite level. I tried this but ended up with a really flat backswing. Most likely my errors!!! Any thoughts appreciated.
@Easiestswing2 ай бұрын
It sounds like you are having a reaction to having tilted your shoulders previously. This can tend to encourage your arms to swing across your body in order to prevent the swing becoming too steep. As soon as you level the shoulders more, this same move will make you swing too flat. Good news is you are aware of it, it will just take a bit of time to sort itself out and to simplify your movement.

This swing is pain free. When you feel like you’re swinging with effort,you’re not doing it right. I think it was Sam Snead said that you should be able to whistle normally while you swing. Try it!
@Easiestswing3 ай бұрын
Great tip - have tried humming and keeping the tone constant but never tried Sam’s tip of whistling- next time at the range for sure!! 👌

🎉Gentlemen, all of the exercises that encompass this golf swing have benefits well beyond the swing. The swinging leg drill and the Danse, have made improvements to my overall mobility and balance. As this swing becomes more and more my natural swing my game is leaving me more refreshed.

Thanks Bradley and speedy recovery. I broke my left wrist five years ago (plated & 5 pins) and worried I wouldn’t be able to swing properly once it recovered - physio was the key you need to be religious with it and I still do exercises every day and will do for the rest of my life to keep it moving - good luck & stick with it!

We have just put a course on the members site specifically on better ball striking and avoiding fat shots. If you were maybe considering joining perhaps this could be the deciding factor.
