@@Easiestswing I'm closing in on 60 so your channel is much more relevant to me than someone teaching to 20-year-olds. I have a terrible lower back, which stops me from doing the full La Danse du Golf move, but I can move a little left and right which helps with more distance. Keep up the good work!

I got curious 1 minute into the video when the close up of your grip showed a ”metallic tubing” below the grip. What is it? Do you have some counter balance of the shaft? Anyway, great content and I hit the ball much better after slowing down my swing.

I am playing a reasonable game but my hands and arms are far too tense. I am almost afraid to try a lighter grip. I think its time to really try this exercise. Thank you.

What a great drill Phillip! I find that as a round progresses that tension starts creeping into my swing and it’s hard to get rid of sometimes which affects good contact and of course my confidence fades. I’m going to learn this drill and use it between shots as a way to keep my rhythm and softness. Thanks for the tip!

Keep reading as you may find the last chapters help you with that there is some great stuff to come in the end of the book which can help you specifically with this problem

A great exercise Harry Varden suggested and now you are promoting Phil! This certainly takes the hands out of equation and concentrates more on where it should be, the wrists and arms! I can see where this would also help one's rhythm because you're not trying to muscle the club, but letting it do what it is designed to do. Well Done Phil!

Quick question, do you play your irons more upright than standard? Was curious if adjusting them upright 2 degrees could help with a taller more relaxed setup

I have just bought new irons and these are 2° more upright than my old ones and yes that is helping me, if you are tall I’d suggest also combining this with longer than most fitters go. I’m 6’4” and now use 2” longer + 4° upright certainly feel easier to me! Hope that’s helpful 👍
