Yeah, no one ever took me seriously. All of my legit accomplishments were always glossed over. It got to the point that I stopped telling people when I did something that I was proud of because I knew that no one would care or they just would not believe me. At least I was funny, I guess.

Last year of middle school was the worst. So far, all 4 years of high school I havent talked to anyone other than the teacher whenever I had too. I didnt bother with friends, or even people who sat next to me. I didnt bother with a girlfriend because not only do I have no social skills but I also just dont want to have deal with a shit load of drama that usually stems from high school realtionships. Ive gotten into welding currently. Nobody bothers me when Im working. I like it.

I was the class clown up until halfway through 7th grade, I started realizing that I could made everyone laugh but I couldn’t even make small talk. I decided to shut down the clown shit, It was rough at first but over half a decade later I’m much better off because of it. Now I have hella good ass relationships and can make small talk with damn near anyone. Besides, I’ve found that people tend to appreciate it when you’re sleeper funny a whole lot more than when you’re regular funny, less of a public spectacle & it’s just so unexpected🤷‍♂️

In my case, I didn't choose to be a class clown. The class clown life chose me. Not much of a clue how either. During primary and middle school I was largely a recluse. It wasn't until high school did I develop a reputation of a kid that did wacky shit. I wasn't trying to come across as wacky it would sort of just happen. Even if I was sad or annoyed I'd sometimes unintentionally spout stuff that my classmates would find amusing (probably a strong sign that I was neurodivergent in some way). The only clue I have is that around this time I started socializing people on the internet more which probably led to me having more self-esteem to talk with people IRL? Sad thing is, that's where I think my social life peaked. The adult environment has significantly more value on the quality of your work, and I'm not all that great at manual labor. So the "clown" aspect of me comes across as more annoying than funny. Although the clown aspect of me seems to be evolving into something else to better suit my environment, so it should go away sooner or later.

In the fourth grade this girl was cry at lunch time. The whole class turns to me as I’m enjoying my spaghetti and says “ make her laugh” I told them guys that not how this works. These people started demanding me and telling me I’m a bad guy for not making her feel better. I give in I tried my best, put my foot nd soul in it. And failed horribly. Making the girls sad and the boys mad. On that dreadful day is when I retired from comedy. Ofc it took me a while to fully retire (11 grade) as it’s my personality. As someone who's in Choir AND Band class, both instructed by the same teacher in the eight grade, I sort of feel bad for the music teacher. Like bro has to deal with the majority of talkitive choir kids who don't wanna be there but can't switch classes, constantly interrupting the teacher and arguing with her. Not only that, but dealing with michevous band kinds who also share similar traits with the hot-cheeto talkative girls in Choir. But holy moly, despite the insane amount of class clowns (and the fair share of people who actually want to do band and/or choir), someone my music teacher has an ISANE among of patience. Like not once has bro snapped, and I know that is because she's used to it and actually genuinely wants to teach.
