japanese and their technology.. this was in 2006 and look at that quality... all the sparring sessions of valero on youtube look like they were filmed in the 90s.. watch a concert video, sparring session video,an autograph signing video thats filmed in japan the quality is always so much better

so true 😄

So true haha watch a Mayweather fight or Pacquiao fight in America in 2003 it looks compressed compare that to a Japanese title fight in 2003 and its like a totally different era

Valero's footwork and speed is incredible!
@monkeypies310 ай бұрын
I think he had wasteful footwork. And he knew it. He never did none of this shit in the fight. This is him having fun. In a fight he was coke forward and feint movemnt to draw counters
@Xenlacasa454 ай бұрын
@@monkeypies3he said in the fights he is not about movement but about “puño” which means he’s all about fists and punches

@@monkeypies3 yeah he was definitely pulling his punches. I heard he let loose on an old Oscar de la hoya though nacho had to kick him out of camp for going hard and also Valero was keeping the guys up with loud porn late nights on the tv 😄

Valero was a freak of a nature he’s constantly on you and when he’s not he’s running circles around you and sticking hard every punch 🥊 even the jab is powerful he gets full leverage on all his shots look like Bruce lee lol
@vagabond7204 Жыл бұрын
The Japanese fighter was so good in the first round with his balance and punches but he started tiring immediately round after round. It was apparent that Mr. Valero was taking it easy on him there onwards since it was not much of a challenge. If anything Mr. Valero was kind enough to spar and point out the weaknesses of the other fighter so that he learns and improves instead of trying to walk all over him and knock him out. Such classy fighters.

Valero wasn't known for ever taking it easy. In fact he was infamous for how hard he sparred. If he could knock you TF out he generally would, he was every bit as much of a violent psychopath around other fighters as he was around everyone else. Nobody trusted him, nobody liked him, everyone knew to stay away from him. If he let this dude off the hook he was probably just feeling lazy that particular day or preserving him for later. As much as he was moving here it looks like he was strictly working on footwork and defense on this day.

I love Edwin. He can ground himself well with his cross. He even bends his knees and grounds himself when he jabs to the body. The other guy grounds himself throws more punches but doesn't ground his punches as good as Edwin. Good Work!
