Mike shows you can be cocky and confident as well as open minded and humble. It's up to you to pick which one to use given different situations. Sparring with a pro fighter is a great opportunity to learn if you dont let your ego get in the way and he shows that here.

Actually I think he did well because of his age and experience at this pace. I am 48 and in class, the younger guys can barely touch me because I have 44 years experience on them and still fit. If we had to go at a higher pace, chances are my many old injuries plus other old guy stuff will most likely slow me down.

Really like the editing style chosen on this stuff, Jeff. The highlights and breakdowns are awesome. Started watching due to Mike advising that you were really specific and honest in how you went over the materials on your channel, and that was awesome to see in practice. Great sparring session. Some real interesting tricks being pulled off here. Also, gym owners take note of the fact that you don't have to pay for a full MMA cage to train your folks in some of that experience of being in the cage. Nice workaround there! Great content as always. Let me be one of many to say that you, Mike, sensei Seth, Dewey Ramsey, and Rokas have represented the martial arts community with the upmost respect. This is the content people want to continue to see. Keep up the great work guys.

Great breakdown and analysis on this one Jeff! This is honestly the way most of us THINK we look when we're sparring (I.e. fluid and controlled), until seeing a video of ourselves and realizing how much flailing and missing we're actually doing. Lol. Just shows the importance of taping yourself and critiquing your own performance, just like you guys. You guys are awesome. Great demo of how lighter sparring should look as well.

I’ve been studying Jeff for a while now, and I love how he closes the distance with that low kick, been trying to replicate it in Muay Thai training and it’s been landing sufficiently, this man help a lot as he doesn’t just show you what he’s doing but brakes it down too👊🏼

Great technical sparring match with Icy Mike aka MMA Dad bod. Guy is hilarious. You guys had some nice feints and head movement. Hoping my sparring game can level up to your guys' skill set. Always learning something watching your breakdown.
