I totally had an incorrect foot lock on my first race. This changes the game for me. THANKS.

Can you please do a video showing the towel exercises you mentioned? Also, the first grip on the rope is one thing. I keep losing the rope under my feet as soon as I let go of it, in a bid to move up. I can't "find" the rope under me and I lose grip from rummaging with my feet. I know once you get a couple of lifts in, you're good to go. Please show the full cycle of of each complete step in climbing up, a couple of times (like hand over hand, let go of rope and re-tighten rope with feet, move up, repeat). I've done one Sprint and have a Super coming up in a month. I'd love to get the bloody rope done. Aroo. Thanks.

Hello Nicole, thank you for the question. Keeping your legs and feet closer together when you climb can really help in finding the rope again when you let go of it with your feet. Ideally, the rope will travel straight down from the grip, traveling close to the body and down between the legs, so bring the feet and legs together will help you find it. Here is my Obstacle 101 video on the rope climb, that gives you a detailed breakdown of the entire climb ... kzbin.info/www/bejne/kJLJl2uhrZmSjpY . And here is a video on some rope climbing exercises that you can use with a towel ... kzbin.info/www/bejne/gHeYk3WYiKaVf9E . I hope this helps and good luck with your next race, AROO!!

Spartan Race Australia Thank you! I’m starting to get it, now. Practiced for a while yesterday. I will definitely watch the videos you sent me. Thank you, especially, for being so thorough in your response. I appreciate you taking the time. PS: You make everything look so easy. I’m thinking if your inverted wall video, which I finally attempted for the first time at my Sprint. Lol Not quite as graceful as you, but I got it done. Your videos are all great. Keep them coming and again, many thanks! Have an excellent day.
