The feels when one has read the Fall of Reach novel... I recommend it to every fan of the Halo lore. It's easy to find and you might want to support the author by legally buying it. Great book.

9:28 ahh the first hunter encounter in halo reach. When I played this at my friends house we would always get our butts kicked here. Apart from shrugging off grenades the Hunters aren't stupid like they are in halo's 1 and 2, they'll cover each others weak spots.

The way I would deal with them is die and rage quit until I was brave enough to try again. I eventually killed them that way.

I had no idea that the orbital designator recharged ;( I always discarded it after the 2nd shot because I thought it was empty.

I really wish the song featured at 8:55 was available on the soundtrack. There is an “Oni Sword Base” track; however, it doesn’t feature the same somber tones or the haunting choir that plays during this level. Reach is my favorite game in the entire saga, but, I play this level repeatedly just to hear the music I mentioned.

ayo wait a minute, now this isnt novel accurate right? at 12:53 and sometime before, you can see Pvt Jenkins and LT. E Mckenzie.. but both of them are on 04 as well. Idr what happens to mckenzie, but Jenkins is turned into flood and is there when Mckay destroys the Truth and Reconcilation....

***** thanks man, i from the PC world but im taking a liking to halo, so i started watching playthroughs. Specifically no commentary ones cause i hate people talking over a game. its like having someone sit right beside you and comment on everything that happens in a game.
