cool , but the quest 3 resolution isn't cutting it. Meta has to release a higher resolution screen for professional use situations. Vision Pro has done that. Quest is still a toy, great for games etc. Vision Pro is just that. Pro !!

The Apple Vision Pro is definitely much better for work, but that doesn't make the Quest 3 bad for it, depending on what you're doing. Even before the latest update I used it for school constantly. I dont think it has to be the highest end to be effective!

@@evrynameis_takn Quest 3 isn't bad, but the market is ready for a Quest Pro 2. The 3 is limited by it's resolution. Give us the Vision Pro screens, a less janky headstrap, and keep the eye/face tracking for social VR at $1000-1500.

​@@PrintAimGame Quest 3 can push a higher resolution but is lower at default. Even the homescreen can be upscaled with Quest Game Optimizer and is like putting on Glasses that you need for the first time. I upscale it on PC as well at least 1.5x at max resolution 90fps.

@@GTduzIt Definitely helps, but if you want to be able to use it for work a reasonable amount of the day the resolution needs to go up a bit. Even the bump up to 2880x2880 like the PiMax Crystal makes a noticeable improvement to text beyond what software tweaks can get you.

I can now do "spatial computing in the meta Quest 3?"? Last I checked, it had no support for GIS (Geographic Information System) analysis of geographic data, which is under the spatial computation umbrella. Using the 1995 definition of "spatial computing" by Simon Greenwold, whe exact definition Apple uses, the Quest 3 was already capable of "spatial computing." It's guardians and the movable window were already a form of "spatial computing."

I am amazed at how responsive your hand tracking is. My hand tracking is a bit more "floaty" (best way I can describe it). Was your hand tracking always as responsive before v.67? Really looking forward to the next update. This negates the need to use the Spatial app. Please tell Dallas he's a good boy and tell your cat I am lobbying for his/her own room. :D

This comment just made me laugh out loud 😂 I'll let them know! And the hand tracking got much better for me in v66 But I don't know if there's been improvements or not for v67. I was honestly thinking while recording that navigating with my hands has definitely gotten easier over the last few months. Also I don't know this for sure, it's just a feeling, but I feel like they must have done something in the background to make tapping on things from a distance by tapping your fingers together more stable. It feels like whenever I used to tap my fingers together the pointer would move just a little bit and throw it off. I don't seem to have that issue anymore

@@popcornshiner3937 The Q3 is my first wireless headset and the battery is my biggest concern. All my previous headsets were wired to the PC so that was never a concern. Just like any other device with a battery, always keep your charge between 20% and 80 - 85% for better battery longevity. You may want to invest in a new headset strap with an external battery. Personally, I use the BoboVR M3 strap with swap-able batteries.

@@evrynameis_takn My go to games are SIM racing games. Top main racing games I have are Assetto Corsa 1, ACC, AMS 2, and RFactor 2. I also have F1-23 racing, several great Bike games, and Rally racing. All are allot of fun learning and racing. Take care.

Owner of Q3. AVP is in an other league. The do not buy league. But you gotta be thankful for it. It's because the vision pro has come to life that meta finally understood what to do with it's software and OS. More curious about the real AVP killer coming this fall. Same Spec at half the price 🤤

I assume it has to do with the power limitations. The Vision Pro has a MUCH more powerful chip. This feels to me like a good compromise to make sure everything runs smoothly on hardware that's $3,000 cheaper. But using it, I'm honestly really happy with how it turned out

Quest 3 has always been the Vision Pro killer bro. Until Vision Pro has actual VR capabilities with controller support and gaming with said controllers, it’ll always just be an AR toy. And this is coming from a huge Apple enthusiast since 2007

As someone who had a Quest 1, 2, and 3, I feel like the 3 is an improvement over the 1 in every single way except no OLED. For me though, there's been enough features to make up for it, though I know the deep blacks are a MUCH bigger deal for others. Do you watch movies or play a lot of dark games?

I demoed the Vision Pro last week and was going to buy one until the algorithm started feeding me Quest 3 content (thank God) and I realised that it’s a much better starter system to get into VR and spatial computing. That's an awesome story!! Its awesome to see you stepping into this stuff. Was the Apple Vision Pro super cool? I haven't tried it yet. And as far as the PTC goes I am not the most experienced person to answer that. This is my first experience with it. I decided that I should be on the earliest releases for the sake of the channel. But I'll tell you from my experience so far, if you don't mind some bugginess and possibly having to factory reset your Quest and redownload your stuff then it seems solid to me. So far those are the only issues I've noticed, but it's limited experience. But for me, the excitement in trying all the newest features is worth it! ...as long as the Quest doesn't get bricked 😅

What I'll probably do is test V67 for a while as soon as I get the Q3 and then, if it's too buggy, I'll reset and run the stable firmware before downloading everything I want on it long-term. Then I'll just wait for an official release of V67

Great video! I’ve had AVP for almost 4 months and use it daily for work and entertainment, but I had quest first and got one for my younger sister too. I don’t use it anymore since AVP been so phenomenal, but my girlfriend does frequently sometimes as does my little sister. Definitely informative to see this so I make sure they’re able to get more function than playing games and KZbin.

@@evrynameis_takn I love it. But I recommend people do simile due diligence before buying it since $4k isn’t easy money to shell out for many people. The 1st in store demo gives you shock factor because it’s new. I demoed it 3 more times afterwards to make sure it’s practical to use for work in addition to entertainment. It incredibly smooth and seamless with my other Apple products so I love it. They def didn’t skip out on quality. Visual is def better than Quest

@@evrynameis_takn I love it. I think many people have expectations for it because it’s VR/AR headset like Quest but they’re so different. AVP is meant for productive workflow while having ability to utilize Apple Music, steaming platforms like Disney, Max, & Apple TV, ability to text and FaceTime all for entertainment. It can keep you captivated. You don’t buy MacBooks to play games. Quest is a gaming entertainment headset first that give you ability to do work in it but literally no one does. But also before buying either, a person should think carefully how much they’ll use it. Many people put down headsets after first two months because they grow tired of it.

Streamlined process for me to go back n forth from entertainment to production. At end of the day, I can just watch tv in it and vibe.

If I enjoy productivity and getting things done in the quest three this much I can't imagine how good it has to be in the vision pro.

If you go to the app I believe it's in devices, click your headset, then headset setting, and somewhere in there you find a toggle for enabling the Public Test Channel. It could be buggy though and I had to factory reset my headset so just be warned

Well you're right about them being 2 different headsets. AVP is geared towards productivity. Quest is geared towards gaming. But the Quest is now copying the AVP's productivity features. I never said they're the same headset
