I'm almost at the end of this video, and while nicely done, I'd like to suggest that a demo should mirror what a first time user would actually see- for example, when first validating token (03:58 you're already logged in), clicking on the gear icon(09:45 already published), the difference in appearance is enough to stop me in my tracks. It would also help to briefly address any subsequent notices or alerts. I realize that some changes to the software may occur after months after the video was posted, but I think a demo should matche the actual experience as much as possible. Every inconsistency causes me pause. Also agree with previous poster about the voice/music ratio. ;) Sincerely, Determined to learn more!

my hangup seems to be when I click Unity 2021.3.8, nothing pops up. I have clicked other things in the Downloads (WIN) dropdown, but my screens then do not look like yours.

My sandbox works fine, but when I publish the same file to Unity, the character falls through the terrain. Why would the same file work in one area, but not the other?

I downloaded Unity 21.3.8 but in its documentation for creator toolkit, Spatial says 21.3.44. I Have tried both, and neither is showing the Spatial toolbar. I have a publish button. Which is the recommended Unity version for Spatail Creator Toolkit. Thank You

We recently renamed it to "Creator Toolkit" - do you see that listed?

@@jakesteinerman8667 Yes I do, and have used it. Unfortunate that the renaming of that menu item was within days of you releasing this video referring to a now non-existent option. I do think that Spatial needs to think a little more carefully about naming conventions. What is it I've just uploaded to 'Creator Toolkit', is it a kit, or a package or a toolkit? It can't be a template, because that appears to be a package + potentially other objects. I know this seems unimportant, but the lack of clearly defined terms leaves people using terms scene/space/environment/package/world in different ways. P.S. you use the word 'Publish' to mean two totally different steps in your workflow.

Hi! When I try to publish my model, it takes too long. On the website, it says that it could take between 1 hour and 24 hours, but on my last attempt, it took 7 hours and then the program closed. Is there anything I need to configure before publishing? Regards!

Which part of publishing took 7 hours - uploading from Unity to Spatial, or until you received a notification that your published scene had finished processing?

@@Spatial_io I had delays when uploading from Unity to Spatial, but I discovered that I needed to close the 'Spatial Portal' window, and then the process started much faster.

When I tried to test your template scene on the sandbox, I got the error " There was an unexpected error while preparing your space for sandbox testing. Built asset bundle 'Exports\WebGL\feature-demo_defaut_0' was not found on disk". Did anyone encounter this?

I managed to resolve the issue by renaming the filename, found under the folder Exports\WebGL\, from "spatial-island_defaut_0" to "feature-demo_defaut_0".

Hey Jake. this is great content. I am watching my friend just blossom learning this stuff and i am trying ot dive in. However, I cannot access spatial from my pc on the web. I can login but after 90 seconds i get kicked out. This has been happening for 6 weeks now. I have created 3 separate tickets over that time trying to get help. I have recieved two emails back on the first (are you still having problems? was the first. 3 days later they came back and asked me a cryptic question about my clock). then nothing. Second request i got one email back (are you still having problems?) and then nothing. Now i have submitted a third request practically begging for help. What do I need to do? I am trying to join a discord server and I do not see how to. Can you please help?
