I like his content the most of the young fishing guys. It’s crazy the amount of people who watch these videos. I’ve been hunting and fishing relentlessly for 30 years. I’ve had some unbelievable experiences in the yonder. Making a great living videoing it wasn’t an option. We just have memories and photos. I’m happy for these guys though and Ben Milliken. Making a good living doing what you love is a huge blessing. A story for fellow anglers to enjoy: Went to Costa Rica about 15 years ago so I put a spinning rod and bait caster in a PVC tube. I only took a few lures and fished the beach behind the hotel. I caught snook, cubera snapper, pacific jack, and roosterfish. I was using a bone color Zara spook but I saw a couple not commit. I switched to a Lucky Craft Sammy 100 in shad color. A nice bass lure. Dudes, when this fish hit it was like a grenade blast and tried to take my rod. I loosen the drag. This is a freshwater Shimano Chronarch with 12 lb mono. My line is going, I see the spool, can’t stop the fish. I run into the surf until I’m shoulder deep. I get back to the beach then he spools me again so I run back out in the water. I was on the beach alone at first, now there’s like 30 people watching me. I’m angling right. Drag, pressure, in then out. The fight lasted over 20 minutes and I was exhausted. I caught a 40-50 lb roosterfish on light bass gear. People were hollering for me, it was such a cool moment. I gave the fish to some locals and the lures to some other locals. Showed them Ricans whatsup and took my ass back to Texas. 🤠

Just thinking about the clamp packs the other day. Broke out the fishing gear after a long winter, many of the soft plastics were warped from sitting so long. Then I checked the my googan baits, all bandito bugs and lunker logs were good to go because of the clamp packs!

LFG I have seen hundreds of people every year hauling their camper and then pulling there fishing boat behind there campers!!! Yes they can be long but you just have to minimize your stops until you get to your camping spot and can un hook one!! I’ve definitely even seen several guys pulling a camper and boat behind a dodge Dakota and they was definitely a longer setup than if you would pull your camper and boat by far!! I have asked several of them if they have ever gotten pulled over for maybe being to long and not a one of them had ever been pulled over other than one guy that he said that he was pulled over for a exspired boat trailer tag!!! He said he had forgotten to put the tag on before he had left but had the new tag in his truck and he was let go after the state patrol had him put it on his license plate!!!
