​@blackface-b1v I'm not hating on you spending your money however you like but it does not have double the frames as the standard. Most games will only give you like 15-20 extra fps for actual aaa titles. Spiderman does about 60-70 on the base with 120hz vrr while the pro does like 80-90.

@ no it does t work like that bro the ps4 to the pro was okay but this ps5 to the ps5 pro isn’t that much of a leap they have been advertising 4k 60 when the base ps5 can do that AND THE PSSR technology isn’t all that amazing your games will ultimately run the same as a base ps5 no games on the pro will be a big leap there whole thing is “combining fidelity and performance mode” when in reality fidelity and performance mode on the base ps5 looked identical so only difference was performance mode at 60gps . So if you have a base ps5 just play your games in performance mode and your good trust me

@@zonzore The 5Pro difference can only be seen if you have a 4K 120hz VRR OLED, really a much smaller upgrade than 4 to 4pro. 4 was 1.6ghz and 1.8Tflops, 4Pro was 2.3ghz and 4.2Tflops, an absolutely massive increase in performance and none of that was wasted on ray tracing. Digital foundry is saying it is only a 10% increase in CPU for 5Pro from 3.5ghz to 3.85ghz.

Honestly, even though the price was a bit high, i am loving the PS5 Pro!!! Everytime i used to play on my base PS5, i used to switch to Fidelity mode in some games just to see the quality and details of graphics for a brief period to WOW the works of game developers but always had to switch back to performance mode. But now with PS5 pro, i ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! Every frame is beautifully crafted, clean and smooth with even small details are so clear. I would highly recommend if you have a 4k tv already, go for the Pro, you wont regret! Yes, its expensive, but worth the money invested until PS6 comes, (maybe 3 or 4 years) instead of regretting to play games in its maximum potential. Just my humble opinion 😌

Yeah but only thing that sucks is most of the games still locked at 30 fps on fidelity. But the resolution is better on performance. I suspect the resoultion on fidelity is also at or closer to native 4K but still 30 fps 🤔

DF nailed this one regardless of the numerous troll like remarks in the YT comment section. If you’re a static PC player it’s likely not for you and it’s not claiming to be a replacement / comparison to a high end PC rig. If you don’t play on decently sized 4K screen then it’s likely not for you either. If you’re broke then it’s definitely not for you. If you’re a console enthusiast, have money to spare, and the setup to make it worthwhile - you’re the one that should consider the Pro. Regarding everyone complaining about price - you likely fall into the “not for you” camp. If you already have a PS5 then simply trade in / sell whichever model you have and the price becomes even less then what the 4 Pro came out at. Be prepared for the launch of the next gen consoled because I guarantee they will be even more eye watering. The cost of everything is up by a substantial margin, technology is not (and has not been) immune to the changes in consumer pricing.

The AI upscaling should be optional. The PS5 pro should run those games at 4K 60fps natively without having to upscale. It's a scam that I'm paying $700 and not even getting a disk drive for a normal PS5 that doesn't look any different from the original, and I would have expected them to include a better controller than the original one because the original gets stick drift extremely fast doesn't seem like a pro to me

Anyway, the videos shown throughout KZbin don’t really do the PS5 Pro any justice. There is a noticeable improvement in visual fidelity and performance across all my games.

Getting the PS5 pro is not really worth it, even if you spend all day gaming, the PS5 slim gets the job done amazing, it’s by far the best deal of the three, it runs games flawlessly, comes with 1tb of ssd, and is only around $500-600 dollars instead of the ps5 pro being $900-1000.

I have both the Playstation 5 Slim Disc Version and Playstation 5 Pro and I must admit originally I wasnt going to get the Blue Ray Optical Disc Drive as I already have one on my PS5 Slim and all my games are downloaded digitally anyway. However, the Playstation 5 Pro does look great with a Disc Drive and since it is the "Pro" I just feel obligated to buy a Disc Drive for it just to fully trick it out.
