Lately I've been thinking a lot about how my family, more specifically my parents aren't going to be around forever, and I just wish they didn't have to be taken away from me, it's too difficult to hold back the tears, I just can't keep the thought out of my head, I don't know if I'm going to be able to handle it when the time inevitably comes, so I've been spending every moment I'm awake with them, and it's made me a lot more appreciative of the fact they're still here with me, but now I realise the biggest mistake of my life is not spending more time with them when I was younger, because they always tried to do things with me, but at the time I didn't realise how precious those moments would have been and preferred to be on my consoles, and I just wish I could change those decisions and spend the time with them, but unfortunately time only moves forward, and now I'm left wondering about memories that could have been, I just don't know what to do anymore.
