spent three years there while in the Army. everything is great in Germany and I miss the record store, it was Qoit and I bought hundreds of albums there and CDs took over in the following year. forgive my spelling but the metgeri. or meat shop kicked ass and the brochen or bread along with the meat were great. Weizen beer with lemon kicked ass too. small city but classy. Tim sydlowski

Hey Tim, I was Born in 1992 in Crailsheim and i live there since 26 years. When I was a little boy, my parents often drove past the former US-barracks with me. sometimes, I always wondered if Americans like us and if the American soldiers liked Crailsheim. I am interested in the history of the former US barracks and US soldiers in Crailsheim, because now I'm a soldier since 8 years as well :) my parents told me that the u.s. Army said goodbye in 1993 from Crailsheim but there are still the old Buildings of the US barracks. however, all Buildings have been renovated and converted into apartments.
