Every time I watch this, I'm touched. No matter what time of day, how many times I watch this, I fall in love with it over and over. To me, I think, it portrays Cloud very well, who he's trying to be and how he wants to change to protect the things he loves. I'm at a total loss for words now.. Just to let you know though, this is 100% my inspiration. Thank you!

Despite being such an old video. I still think it's perfect. I always come back here, whenever in doubt, or lack ideas. This is my motivational video. It's just such a perfect portrayal of Cloud, and the characters in FF7. So many just look at these characters as a "Who's strongest?" Or whatever. But thats not what their story is about. It's about them, finding their path, finding who they are... Crisis core is the start of that, FF7 is Cloud finding his life has been largely fake, and AC, is Cloud finding himself, who he really is. To best his foe just one more time. Because that's all he needs. Final Fantasy 7 is a story of self discovery, and this video captures that perfectly.

I don't know why I didn't run across this before, but this is absolutely beautiful. The way you superimposed images and put dialogue in different places to fit your narrative shows so much skill and creativity. This is definitely being added to my "rewatch over and over list." One question though - I recognized a lot of the quotes from AC, CC, and KH2, but there were a few in there and I don't know where they came from. They're longer sentences: at 0:20, 1:59, 2:47, and 3:29. Where do those quotes come from? I would love to see the rest of that. Thanks for all the work you put into this! It's so touching!

Kelley Robb Thank you so much for such lovely compliments! Those bits of dialogue are from General Hospital, since the character in that show is Cloud's voice actor and his dialogue got the narrative I was trying to convey. :)
