I'm glad to see Celica back on the channel. This is the car that first turned me to tune into your channel.

We (gear installers) recommend thinning the marking compound down before applying so you can get a better read. And you need to heavily amplify the "load" you're putting on it, and rotate that gear multiple revolutions with that load, not just a quick forward and back. Ideally, Just take that third member to a shop that specializes in this stuff. Ring and pinion stuff is less DIY than an engine rebuild.

The original Celica videos from years ago are what introduced me to the channel and I've been a voracious consumer ever since. I think this project is probably the best of any car series on the web; which is a bold statement, but I'll stand by it. I can't believe I have to buy a Radium cell now, what a piece of art!

These cars were so beautiful. In the late 80s, I had a mid 70s model (it was a long time ago and can't remember the exact year, I'm old) and it was one of the funnest cars I've ever owned. They're so hard to find now. Toyota would sell a ton of them if they did a retro of these. Beautiful car.
@malanne13 ай бұрын
Hey, I have an idea, maybe consider the rear filler set up on a stock tail panel from the other year filler panel. It would be a way cleaner set up and easier to install to that beautiful tank. And you would only have to flap the panel down to fill instead of opening the trunk every time….good luck! Connie looks great!
