Yonder is commonly pronounced yunner here, exact like runner with the R replaced. Kinda like how hello is pronounced as yellow, exactly like the color. We relax the mouth, changed some of the sounds to easier ones.

❤YOU LOVE JENNIFER, I DO TOO THAT'S WHY IT'S VERY IMPORTANT TO UNDERSTAND WHAT SHE SAYS, FOR THAT REASON THE ENGLISH SUBTITLES, THE VISUAL MEMORY INFORMS YOU HOW IT IS WRITTEN AND THE AUDITORY MEMORY TAKES THE PRONUNCIATION OF JENNIFER. SPEAK ENGLISH WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY CONTINUOUS PRACTICE IS WHAT WILL GIVE YOU FLUENCY TO SPEAK AND LISTEN WITH UNDERSTANDING AND THAT WILL OPEN YOUR HORIZON AND YOU WILL BE ABLE TO MEET MORE PEOPLE, BY THE WAY FRIEND LAWRENCE IS GREAT. ❤

That was a different lesson but I liked it! It showed me that I will encounter many accents and slags in different culture and places in America. Sometimeks i felt like " are there difference between both phrases?" however I know that there are difference and this stuff show me that I have to listen and practice with people around the whole America! Thank you Ethan for this opening eyes lesson!

I knew a gal from Mobile, and she had a rich accent. I have never heard anyone speak like that since. Also the guy on “King of the Hill” has a friend named Boomhauer who is difficult to understand. Then Brad Pitt plays a character and speaks Patois. Really nice. Then there is the Jamaican accent. Wow.

Eng-Spa bilingual here, been an ESL teacher for 10 years now, lived in Alabama for 2 years. Your impersonation of the southern drawl is definitely not the best 😅😝 and some of the examples weren't good choices, but, overall, your videos are great and my students really benefit from them. Would be interesting if you broke down the different Southern accents. Appalachian, Texan, Louisiana, Cajun, Creole, Carolina, Tidewater, Georgia, South Georgia, Florida all have differences. Some are heavy twang some heavier draw and Appalachian uses completely different words and expressions. This video is a little miss leading that all the people in what is a massive area made up of many cultures and ethnicities will all generally sound the same. Oh and though it is not technically the South Maryland depending in where you are sounds way more Southern. Would love to here a breakdown of a real heavy Baltimore accent.
