Another tip to add: When Ragnar speaks, he does so in concrete and precise language. He does not flaunt, he does not stammer, he does not hesitate. Ragnar expresses his ideas clearly and with conviction, which you can also achieve by creating strong mindsets and fully commiting to whatever you start to say.

Ragnar has other qualities that command his respect. He thinks outside the box and does whatever it takes to win. People love to follow winners because they feel like theyre on the right path. He forgives those close to him but not after theyve felt his wrath. This works both ways though since it made an enemy out of Rollo but a close friend and extremely loyal follower in Floki. I think the show did a great job in portraying Ragnar. They showed him as a human who has feelings. He was devestated and still thought of his daughter seasons after his daughter died. He made mistakes. He is very relatable

I overcame my issue of not being heard by speaking in an engaging slow tone and eye contact throughout the discussion. You guys are actually really good. Your psychology skills is the best. I want to tell you a little story how I took what I learned from you & ruined my life. This is no fault of you guys as I learned & implemented the skills you teach for my total selfish gain & I hurt everyone around me. I was & am a extreme introvert. I did not want to speak to anybody in public, I did not want anyone to speak to me whether I knew them and especially strangers. I had a girlfriend for 15 years who I turned into my wife & we were married for 5 yrs. I was very well-off working by myself, at home, my own business & my only friends were my wife's friends, their husband & their children. Maybe 14 people altogether. I knew I had this issue with being an extreme introvert which I did not like because you cannot avoid all social gatherings for your entire life. I started watching your videos about mid 2017. It was very basic how to talk to people in Social settings. I would view your videos 4 or 5 times & then I would implement 1 or 2 of the aspects of the video into my life. I would do this over the next couple months & everybody I interacted with was really liking me instantly for a lack of a better term. I realized this & I unknowingly started to manipulate people to do what I want. I'm told I'm a good-looking guy so it all spiraled out of control for the next 1- 1/2 years. Long story short, I had countless drop dead gorgeous models want to be with me & older women that wanted to give me stuff & do things for me to be around them. In the end my wife of 20 years divorced me. I started drinking heavily & I realize I didn't want anything else besides my wife. I deserve everything that has befallen me over the past year & I have reverted to being the introvert that I was before viewing your videos. Like Uncle Ben said, with great Power comes great responsibility...

That 'calm in the face of conflict' one seems to depend on who you're dealing with though. Sometimes remaining calm can just get the other person more riled up because they think you're ignoring them or not taking them seriously. It reminds me of the advice when you're confronted by a big cat, to make yourself look bigger and louder to dissuade them from attacking, sometimes acting more psycho than they do is better than lying down and offering them your jugular.

What I also like about the scene with Tostig (the old warrior) is that Ragnar could have said "Yes" and be done with it...but he rather let all people around him to say that, showing the warrior that all around him want him there

In shield wall, ragnar tended to stay in the back of the shield wall anyway, so it's not really cause harm especially when he's needed more at the front of the shield wall. He usually did this when the wall start to break or a new formation is needed
