Kudos for speaking & understanding the language as well as he does. I’m coming up to 2 years studying myself & I can only speak & understand a fraction of what Keith does. Thai is so difficult( every language is unless you have the flair)

Being raised by Thai parents in America, I had no choice to learn Thai. But my Thai speaking is so basic that only my parents would understand my gibberish lol. I'm trying to get better now that I'm older though and will be living in Bangkok for a year.

You are considered very lucky to be exposed to Thai language at a very young age. Imagine adult Thai learners, they have a hard time acquire the language. I would like to suggest you to learn reading/writing. It will improve your pronunciation and expand the vocabulary. And when you are in Thailand, speak as much as you can.
