@Ryan Smith meaning in 2022 NO ONE would question him wearing a dress. Whereas 10 years ago it’s funny that no one did question it.

It's place in music is an outlet, so many people can identify not only with the subject matter but with the intensity of the entire genre itself. Some people need that solid, rock hard, relentlessly and musically violent base in life. I feel like I, personally, wouldn't be a sane man if it weren't for the insanity of this type of music.

damn just woke up from some very well needed rest...only to find out that Jonathan “KC Wolf” Kindler from The Chariot left the band. :( it was totally amazing seeing this guy play on stage every time i saw them. and he's definitely a huge influence when it comes to my stage presents and how to put on a great show, but more impotently on my religious relationship with Jesus. Through him all is possible and The Chariot is living proof. Good luck Wolf!

I like both. I've always considered screaming more of a sound to compliment the music. But it's always nice when someone like Josh Scogin, Micah Kinard, or Jordan Dreyer hit a scene, passionate screams are a nice change of pace.

I often think the same thing...Probably because it's genuine and authentic art from people who are driven by a passion for the catharsis they receive from creating it. Sounds more complicated than it really is, I guess.

I think it's more about the way they recorded it... Same room with a piano, no headphones to isolate sounds... It can be really hard as a vocalist to hear the music when you're screaming if it isn't really loud, so I can imagine that made this difficult. Also they had to mic the piano which will pick up his vocals on that mic as well as the vocal mic... not a bad thing, but not a very traditional approach these days. It give it a really raw sound and I think thats what makes them who they are.

Anyone know what happened to the other "Speak" video? It was shorter. Showed them playing in that room and then cut to a black and white video of them playing other shows&songs going crazy but all you could hear was the piano outro of "Speak" playing in the background. Then it went to a black screen and said "Forget Not Your First Love" then faded to a skull. It was seriously the most badass thing I ever watched but i cant find it anywhere. Used to give me chills. I hope it didnt get deleted.
