House Speaker Mike Johnson spoke after the House passed a set of foreign aid packages, including $60.8 billion in aid for Ukraine, remarking that he would rather "send bullets" than troops to overseas conflicts. Johnson has faced threats to oust him as speaker from GOP lawmakers opposing Ukraine funding.

It's a different matter altogether, we aren't doing the fighting so that's great, the money out actually comes back Johnson said 80% to our weapons sector, that's great, employment etc. we don't have to think about that and all it's downstream, that's huge as it is, strong performance for the GDP. RENT indeed is a problem. Metropoles shouldn't be allowed to grow to be behemoths like the huge cities we have, there needs to be limits, sprawling rather than rising. City planners should work this way, transport and infrastructure should fit correctly, with bias on moving outwards to the suburbs further away. This will take a generation to fulfill, cooperation of the next 4 or 5 presidencies.

One of the key differences is that the DOD must make a plan within 45 days for how to defeat Russia in Ukraine. This is the first time that victory against Russia has been proposed.
