For what it's worth: The rights to the Polaroid name and brand were bought up in 2017 by the owners of the "Impossible Project", an independent manufacturer and refurbisher of Polaroid film and cameras. Since then, they've brought back Polaroid's camera lineup and film along with slowly turning it into a lifestyle brand. It's a bit different than previous years in which Polaroid's name was used in the same fashion as Westinghouse or Technicolor to market cheap, low-end electronics.
@BlacklistBill2 жыл бұрын
Seconded. It would be nice if when they do reviews of "purely brand" products (those always made by subcontractors) they would find out who actually produced/manufactured the product. This would allow for a better gauge. Contracted to Bose: good. Contracted to mpow: not so good. (If anyone has a better suggestion than mpow, please chime in, I spaced on a bad sound product company)

I own the Polaroid p4. The two tweeters are actually a stereo pair. You can hear stereo out of them. To my ear, p4 is very good. The mid and high are very smooth and clear. Such performance on mid range and trebles is hard to find on Bluetooth speakers. There are also little to none bass compression when you turn up the volume. They are better than those JBLs and Sonys at the same price (250 dollars) if you are not buying a speaker for bass only. (Frequency sweep also confirm this). The only drawback is the bass. You won’t get any bass below 50Hz. The bass is a little boxy, but not exaggerated. They are always at discount on eBay and given the price you pay (

Yeah the Polaroid name is kind of like Atari after their bankruptcy. Polaroid BV does still make some SX-70 and 600 film though I'd personally probably use a Fujifilm Instax instead depending on what ISO you really need or if you really prefer the Polaroid image size. Instax is only ISO 800 but considering what you'd actually want on instant film I think that's a good choice.
