One thing the founders could have done to make their case is to have hired a sound engineer and have the engineer compare the sound quality, frequency range, volume etc across products that cost the same as theirs and really show the power of wood bass. The next thing they should have done is carry out surveys and take reviews from average consumers. How the speakers feel to them, the build quality, the battery life, the design etc.

Products similar to the brands that the Sharks own always create a tense environment for the candidates. Whenever sound/speaker related product is shown, Aman grows tense. I just wanted them to prove their claim of audio quality by showing frequency and output charts. It doesnt work on the basis of feel. Certainly if their charts are superior to a similarly priced non wood speaker then people will buy a wood speaker!! what I agree with the most is what Namita said : Their brand name sounds like Kenwood , design language looks like Marshall very clearly.. the consumer is aware nowadays. He knows he doesnt want a cheap ripoff because it makes you look wannabe. The best success story/case study is of ORANGE, the guitar amp maker and a Marshall competitor. Marshall had a 6 year long head start, and this is the 1960s mind you. Orange couldve easily ripped off Marshall's design because it was the IN THING back then. But Clifford decided I'm gonna name it orange AND color it orange as well. And along with the distinct sound their amps offered, it was the distinct orange color that made them sell like hot cakes. Never try to copy, and have a unique differentiator.

@Aditya yes you are right..main yeh keh raha tha ki shark ji Tara se entrepreneur ko bol raha hain ki unlogo ka speakers ka concept Naya nahi hai,. Boat ka bhi concept starting me kuch naya nahi tha..boat se pehle bohot accha brand already tha..lekin boat ke price starting me kam tha and naam bhi Bose jaisa tha aur mrp bohut high dikhake discount 70-80 % me sold karta tha and marketing bhi bohut acch tha, isliye famous hua tha..so, new entrepreneur ko itna demotivate karna jaruri nahi tha..just bol dete "I m out.. sorry"

​@@Thsushd bhai mene 4 baar boat k earphone lie h. Exact 12 mahene chlte h fir khraab hjate h 🤭. If PPL have capacity then they should buy JBL instead it's expensive but quality is far more superior than boat , realme etc etc

@@Thsushd Not really. Same quality is also given by many others like Zebronics, BOLT etc. BOAT is doing the same thing which MICROMAX used to do first. Import from china. But if Chinese brands with decent quality will come then competition will begin.

बात ये है कि Boat अपने जैसा अलग product को compete नहीं करने देना चाहता है। Hammer company ka 40% खरीदा क्यों कि वो पुरा खरीदकर competition खत्म करना चाहता था। लेकिन जब उसे लगा इस company को खरीद नहीं सकता तो वो out हो गया ।
