My wife and I met Amy at a house concert at singer/songwriter John Sieger's house in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. She was amazing and when she an John broke into "Pump It Up" by Elvis Costello it really blew my mind. We became fans immediately.

I'm ashamed to say that I only found Amy in the last few months and now I am totally hooked. Such a huge talent (and she seems like a really lovely person).

that's how it happened for me, but it was 1999 and Sugar Tree was in the used bin. I immediately had trouble finding her other cds but persisted. Then i met Amy and Eric. And then we recorded 7 of my songs together. They were so kind. One of the few times i've been in Heaven in this life.

Thanks for posting this, absolutely amazing. I always loved you Amy, but now I love you more (sorry Eric). I totally agree with you that it's quite baffling why you're not a household name throughout the US and Europe.

That "Don't Ever Change" song? That was perfect. That's exactly how I feel a lot.

How insane is it that this woman isn't a household name? Americans just have no taste... Nice interview!

Amy Rigby is the greatest. What a talent. Summer Of My Wasted Youth, Are We Ever Gonna Have Sex Again, Dancing With Joey Ramone...wow. She deserves every accolade she gets and more! 👍🏻

It's awkward how the interviewer is just sitting right next to her, staring while she's playing

@Jesse Mullen. It's called listening. Try it some time...I'm with Mark W on this one.. This conversational low-key yet meaningful interview format with actual listening and thoughtful answers wouldn't have to be any blueprint for a whole new mass media. We've got enough cookie cutter mass production. However, a wee bit of facilitating intimacy via the most powerful forms of mass communication might do our explosive and destabilizing nation-state, among the few developed nation-states without a national Public Interest broadcaster insulated from corporate caliphate pressures to always be selling and "always be closing" why it might do U.S. some good.
