We speak with the director of _The Apprentice_, "the movie Trump doesn't want you to see," which opens today in theaters despite legal threats from the former president. The film looks at how Trump was mentored by Roy Cohn, former chief counsel to Senator Joseph McCarthy during the Red Scare. He went on to represent Trump as he built his New York real estate empire, and "was the person who sort of built Trump, as a person, as a brand, as an identity," says Abbasi.

I saw this movie on the opening night. It's excellent, and it is not "pro" or "anti" Trump -- it's quite based on real events that can be easily verified. They went to great effort to accurately replicate historical scenes. Ali Abbasi did a great job with this movie.

He has the right for trying to block a movie, it is about him. He has no right to use the judge system for it, like democrats use to silent dissidents. Free speech is not about trying to shut up somebody , it is about abusing or change the law for it. A movie about Fred Trump would resonate with every human being across the board. Fred drank for various reasons, it's also a personal choice. I'm not attacking him. He is understood. A man dying at age 42 of complications from alcoholism is a human being numbing himself from his past and present experiences. I know Fred's experiences are far more interesting and tragic by far a misplaced soul. Can you imagine a brother the complete opposite of you. A narcissist that one can not wrap your understanding around, this would also apply to Trump Sr. Most have commonalities to this in particular. I believe the illness America suffers "one of them," is the feeding of the narcissistic element alive in anyone, choose goodness/soul for all or it's only about me. Fred, the underdog and unwilling to sacrifice what is left of his soul for alcoholism is a sword slicing many times over. That is the movie which could capture the World. Worth mentioning is the complete participation of Donald's mother. Her payoff, the materialistic realm, the cost her soul. Love and affection has a cost. Americans know this without a doubt. Watch narcissist's as they lose to justice. It's beautiful. Look at Bill Clinton, a brilliant survivor of the alcoholic family using the tools of "the high achiever," he's admitted this. He simply played the card of JFK and a saxophone and the psyche of America loved it. Sly in every way. Bringing you war and NAFTA against every citizen in America. Still, Bravo for the movie.
