Hello, Sunny. I've seen your speaking languages video thounsands of times. And I gave you a thumbs up because of your sincerity. But you said that you can't speak russian, and I say that you can do it great, I speak it and study it as I studied yours, (mine is Spanish, Dominican Republic), and I asure you that you can do it. German is quite harder, believe me. Once you get to it you enjoy it. you got a great potential to study that language. Russian language has more than 30% English sounds and English words, other 20% spanish sound, and the other fifty greek and real russian. Good luck with your russian. P.s. I'm not a girl. @xOmniCloudx8 жыл бұрын
That's true for EVERY language on Earth. English is my native language and I will NEVER come close to knowing everything about it because there's just too much there to learn for any one person. People don't seem to realize that even the easiest languages are complicated to learn since it takes a lot to communicate everything you see and feel in general and is virtually impossible to be able to do so in every form that exists. In regards to all of that, Spanish has been proven to have the LEAST of that (assuming you're sticking to one specific version of it anyway) and has most commonly been stated to be the easiest language to learn by non-native speakers. I've studied over 53 languages and Spanish and Italian were by far the simplest of them all. The hardest languages were the Arabic ones and languages heavily influenced by it as well as many of the Asian languages. Honorable mention to Russian and Ukrainian which are commonly ranked as some of the hardest languages to learn in the world.
@seryisergiolopez61798 жыл бұрын
Spanish and Italian are the simplest? XDD Maybe you didn't study Chinese, but I can say it's much simpler than others languages, even much more than English. Look, my english isn't perfect but I can say it's x100 times simpler than spanish: adjectives (sometimes you can even change the meaning of the adjectives if you change the position, for example: ''pobre'' viuda and viuda ''pobre'') , nouns (with their genders), a lot of ways to make a sentence (much more than english language, trust me), a lot of words (like English, we even share some words ourselves), verbs (more than 100 ''verbal forms'' for each verb, and don't forget about the pronominal verbs, they don't exist in your own language and foreign people don't use to know how to use them, except french people, and hey don't talk about the subjunctive, I even don't know how to use it and why). About English... yes, pronunciation is harder because there are more vowels and reading is difficult (specially at first), but you realize you just have to know the words (I include phrasal verbs) and their pronunciation, and no more, cause grammar is so easy and you don't have to worry about the genders, the adjectives, about the words positions, about the verbs, etc, etc, etc. By the way, all the languages are difficult, I agree with you that even the simplest languages can be a challenge in a lot of aspects, and I'm sure I'm making some mistakes in this comment (I don't use the translator), but I don't care because we all learn with them, and yes, Russian is soooooooo fucking hard.
@xOmniCloudx8 жыл бұрын
seryisergio lópez Chinese? You mean Mandarin (although rarely people mean Cantonese) haha. Nearly no one thinks Mandarin is easy, not even the Chinese people and its nickname is the devil's tongue for how insanely complex and time consuming it is to get down on anything but the basic level (which is easy for any language). There's literally around 5000 characters of which you'll need to learn at least a couple hundred of, and that's just ONE aspect of the language. It constantly ranks as one of the most difficult languages in history and is commonly advised against as being learned for someone that wants to maintain a high GPA or doesn't have a lot of time, especially if they're over 30 since at that point it becomes much harder for anyone to learn a language. Almost every language is simpler than Mandarin, especially Spanish and Italian xD
@seryisergiolopez61798 жыл бұрын
xOmniCloudx Hahaha not not, I'm not saying Chinese is easy (It would be one of the hardest language for me), I'm just saying it's simple in the sense of the grammar and the way to make a sentence, look, I have a lot of friends from China and they always say Spanish is a complex language and more difficult than Korean (and english), for example... but anyway, I'm sure spanish is one of the easiest language for english people cause of the cognate words and the pronunciation, but it doesn't mean Spanish is a simple language, just one of the ''easiest'' for english people. It depends a lot on the people are from, we are saying russian and ukranian are sooo difficult, but for polish people it can be a game for childs.

To put it into simple terms as long as you know spanish you may roughly be able to speak italiano because both have derived from the latin spoken lamguage. You can notice the similarities between certain phrases.

@benirodriguez95168 жыл бұрын
Sigurður .Aron Oh.. my mistake, It could be basque vs Icelandic, what I meant.. can't remember now where I read it. but to say that Icelandic is harder... hmm, have you tried to learn basque, and can guarantee me your answer? (and the idea was, for an english native to learn one of those languages) I can't neither of them.. I speak 3 languages though (Spanish, Norwegian and English), and I can add music theory and computer programming.. so I know my fair share of languages.. It's not me that has awarded Basque as the most difficult language to learn in Europe!.. Icelandic, finnish and basque are the most difficult for an english native to learn, and from the three.. well some say one, some say another.. but I have seen Basque more times!.. This degree of difficulty is on account of grammar, syntax, phonetics, morphology. Personally I see any english native learning one of this 3 languages, like a waste of time!.. hah.. why should anyone need to learn those languages!? (yes, if you live there.. is another thing) but if not.. English and Spanish are the most useful for anything.. and Chinese or Japanese if you intend to get a work or a life-partner from there, but also in the last case, only if you intend to move there. Cause its a lot easier for a chinese to learn basic english (somewhat) than the other way. But if you still mean Icelandic is harder.. let's go with it. :P

*HOW IS YOUR SPANISH?* Ojalá: This would be the equivalent to “if only” or “I wish”. It comes from Arabic and it is a very genuine Spanish expression since few languages have a word to express this feeling. ¡Déjame en paz!: We could translate this as “leave me alone”. It is always useful if someone is annoying you. Be careful though and use it just when necessary! It’s quite a strong statement. Vale: “Okay”, “fine”, “understood”… Probably the most common word in Spain. ¡Que va!: This is a way to say “no”. It’s normally when something is already obvious, so we could translate it as “absolutely no” or “of course not”. For example, “Are you going to the game tomorrow?” “¡Que va! I have class”. ¡Es la leche!: This expression is used to say something or someone is great or amazing. This is a very Spanish expression and people will like it if you use it. It’s the milk! Nada del otro mundo: This is used to say something is “nothing special”. We could translate it as “nothing out of this world”. You can use it if you are unimpressed by a place or an event you have attended., usually as an excuse to not to go out! Andar/Estar muy liado: People use this to say they are very busy/ they have loads of things to do . The English equivalent would be “to have one’s hands full”.
