Can you tell me how did you come to that conclusion according to the text in the words itself that speaking in tongues is babbling because we’re actually reading the words. It is not like that the words speaks in audio and shows us what speaking in tongues can be sounds like.

In '78 i made up my mind to find out one way or another if the Bible was true. A friend of mine knew i was searching so he invited me to his familys' church for a Thursday night Bible study. When we arrived there, before the study started, i noticed people going into a side room. My friend asked me if i knew where they were going. I said no. He told me that they were going back there to pray and, if i wanted to, i could too. So i went back there. People were kneeling at benches and praying. So i found one by myself, knelt and closed my eyes. I didn't really know how to pray so i was listening to how they were praying. After a few minutes i heard a girl come in and she was praying as she came. All of a sudden she started praying in this strange language. I remember thinking," That's different". Suddenly i felt this powerful presence draw near me. I could feel the power coming from it but i wasn't afraid. I was so naive that i opened one eye to see if perhaps someone had quietly knelt near me. Nobody was near me. So i decided that it must be Gods' presence. I went back out and sat down with my friend and his wife and was watching the people coming out of the prayer room and i was amazed. They came out smiling and their faces just glowed like they had a powerful light in their heads. After the study ,and when my friend found out i had liked it, he said that he would send a friend of his to pick me up the next night to take me to a church " like his". So that next night his friend picked me up and took me to the service. The minute i stepped in the church i felt that powerful presence again. At the end of the service i went up for the altar call because i had decided that what the people at the Bible study had that i didn't was that presence in them. So when the young men asked me what i needed prayer for i told them. They took me back to their prayer room. It was a hallway so i knelt, closed my eyes and lifted my hands. I started praying asking God for his presence to be in me. After a few minutes i heard the pastors voice saying," Brother Bob, stand up, lift your hands and recieve the Holy Ghost". So i stood up, with my eyes closed and lifted my hands. Immedistely, with my eyes closed, i saw a window appear to my upper right side and it had old fashioned looking shutters on it and they were wide open. For a few seconds i saw this beautiful blue sky. Then i saw this bright light appear moving from the left side inside the window. It kept moving until it was in the center of the other side of the window. Then it stopped and shined on me. Immediately, i felt this warmth moving up my legs. It felt like i was being filled with a warm liquid. It kept moving up my body and when it approached my head i heard the pastor telling me to surrender my tongue to the Spirit. I stopped thanking Jesus for answering my prayer and relaxed my tongue. After a few seconds i felt control over my tongue seized and it just took off and i was speaking this language that sounded like what the girl at the Bible study was praying in. I didn't even know what it was called. Never have i felt such joy. I was rejoicing and thanking Jesus for filling me and so were the fellows who had been praying for me. I led the way out of the prayer room and stopped and faced the church people. I was smiling and i felt such love for these people that i didn't even know. I felt like i had a small sun in my head and i could feel its' rays beaming out from around my head. When i arrived back home, and before i went to bed, i decided to read a little of the Bible. When i opened it i was shocked. All of a sudden it had taken on much more depth and i felt the Spirit guiding me and helping me to understand what i was reading.

Extraordinary testimony it made me open up and start praying in tongues again even though I pray in times but it's like a rejuvenation of refreshing double portion triple hallelujah that was encouraging is though it was yesterday hallelujah let the Holy Spirit continually flow through us and prophesy heal the sick cast out demons in with great faith with great extraordinary exploits in 2021 the release of the unleavened bread mana that was hit in 2000 years ago but now this revealed unto us to search out and see whether these things be true or not and they are true SHALOM*****🕊️🕊️🕊️🔥🔥🔥👑✨🙏🙏💫💖🥳🎉❤️

There's something I always noticed about the Prophet, is that the love of God oozes through him. Anytime I see him I just feel the love of God. I have never physically met him but Love was the core of all his messages. It's hard to put this in words.

@@paulinengozi7833 In 1 Corinthians 14:19 Paul states he would rather speak 5 words in a tongue that can be understood rather than 10,000 in one that you wouldnt understand. In 1 Corinthians 12:4 it speaks of many different gifts in the church. Fruits of the Spirit gives some examples. Do not lose heart in what you see others doing, as you will lose sight in the gifts God has given you. It's not about how spectacular the gift is but as a body part of Christ you use the gifts he has given you to the best of your ability. Pride can become a problem in those who are displaying their 'gifts' to be seen and not in service to God. After all, in Numbers 22:29 God used a donkey to warn Balaam about danger, and Im pretty sure the donkey wasnt a Christian. In short, God has blessed you with gifts from the Spirit. Continue with those gifts whatever they may be and be encouraged by them.. If I am a street sweeper in the kingdom of Heaven, I will still rejoice no matter what.

You can cast demons out of your flesh/soul as well. When you got born again your spirit got born of The LORD's Spirit but your flesh still had issues - old hurts etc. or genetic diseases etc. They did not AUTOMATICALLY GO AWAY - the way you got saved and Spoke in New Tongues. Your BELIEF of being The LIGHT and The LIFE will determine the manifestation of His Life in your body and soul.

Can a born again Christian be possessed? I remember watching a sermon from man of God Lester Sumral saying that there’s a difference between being with the devil and being demon possessed (with stages of possession). The former happens to carnal Christians and the latter to people with nature of sin (not born again).
