I remember McRae flying over a raised railway crossing in Kenya... the jump was probably 2 metres high and over 20 metres long.

I love this kind of interview with this kind of people that can bring you inside of the story, amazing person, amazing story tellers. As a portuguese, my first rally was portugal 1977, see the photos of portuguese rally in foreigh programs its ...wow. Waiting for another co-driver talking like two friends. Greatest from Portugal, Ericeira.

Colin McRae after an off - "I don't know what happened. You'll have to ask the Welsh wizard". Or something to that effect.

Kimi won F1 Champion in 08 and then and sadly failed at Rallying for the next 2 seasons 09/10 only to come back to F1 again. Kimi is a very very fast driver and Finnish and still struggled like a new kid on the block at Rallying.

Can someone explain to me why rally legends, classics rally, have so many fans? In my point of view see the cars of today drive in from of you at 140 km its seally, because its take 1 sec, and i want to see the car, and the drivers, if i want to see speed i go to a highway. Today you see a Ford Escort 1800 RS and is insane for young people. Then came a Toyota and... is gone. Yeah is much more faster, but what did you realy see ??? The wheels are most of the time in front, you dont see the technic of the driver, the smell in the air ... nope. With this rules you dont bring fans to the stages, the first car that i see was a Lancia Stratos, Bernard Darniche, i still remenber the noise, the smell, the way he make the corner, the colors, etc, my heart stop it takes 5 seconds. Today...it take 2seconds and probaly i did not recognise the car because they look all the same. But, well, at the end of the day is everything about money.

Say whatever you want but Colin macrea cost Nicky the Ford team and M- sport the world championship for being to arrogant don't get me wrong he was a very good driver and I know you have to push to win but he took to many risks disobedient of team orders and that cost the works team whoever he drove for. I know there's a lot of die hard fans out there and I'm certainly not speaking wrong of him. But that's my opinion. Nicky a world class Co driver 👏
