I can’t be the only one that thinks this man is one of the most stylish surfers on the planet. It literally looks like he came out of the womb with a surfboard attached to his feet. It feels like I get into a flow state just watching him. 😮🏄🏾♂️

… no you’re not alone. He sure has a unique, throw-back style. I see Buttons’ influences on his forehand….

I really watching this young man and the graceful style and energy he exudes. I’m 64 and his clean and smooth lines remind me of the late 70-80’s. Not to say he doesn’t carve snapbacks, floaters and off the lips. This man has a visually appealing style. Really enjoyed this. 🎉

Looks like a really impressive board w/ down the line speed, maneuverability and turn shape. But we'll never know for sure... until you show us some footage with a mere mortal on it. :)

Nice one! Loved how there was lots of backside surfing and beach break too which shows the capabilities of a good fish!

Where does does this whole backside thing come from? Surely okes who haven’t surfed fish enough? Watch his back foot - always moving to the rails. Here’s Rasta’s take… kzbin.info/www/bejne/f3nMfHiCorunpM0si=Dc7f-mhMAtAu36sp

So he likes it better than the twin pin? Be good to see him Asher and Ratsta and any other twin fin guru surfing a session together and push each other and compare styles.

He hasn't said that he likes it better, but it's definitely got a different vibe and flow that he's digging. He still rides the Twin Pin a lot.

Fish have limitations in some respects but open you up to other areas of a wave you wouldn't consider approaching on a performance shortboard. Just another reason to add some variety to your quiver. Enjoy.

Love Mikey no hate towards him but it's funny how Merrick just hops on trends, thinks it's so inventive like a techie who came up with Uber but doesn't realize we had that it was called a taxi, same thing, if you want a real fish head to San Diego and blindly pick any of their legendary shapers. Or where the came from
@cisurfboards8 сағат бұрын
This board was 100% driven by Mikey's love for the fish design. No claim of ownership was ever made by him or CI, and all the respect in the world toward Lis and the SD crew that grew up riding and building their own versions. Mikey saw an older fish we made that was laying around factory and a few versions later he landed on this one. We have had many different fish designs over the decades. Thanks for chiming in.
