Interesting. I'd say the best sashimi I've had was actually spotty mackerel. I'm definitely going to have to try a dimond trevally now you speak so highly of it. 👌👌

Definitely worth a try mate. I’ve never tried spotty. I’ll give it crack as well. I try everything new I spear raw, try and find my new favourite haha. It’s no Dogtooth tuna, that will be hard to beat but it’s pretty damb good.

@@ExhaleAdventures ya i was also checking out the behaviour of some of the similar species on youre videos . hard to tel but judging from youre hunting techniques it looks to be very similar . exept for the Matahari we find them very very deep never had them in les then 20 m of water so only ever able to catchem by rod

Hey mate, I’ve got a beard trimmer and I knock off a couple of mm under my nose. And I’ll smear a bit of vasoline on it as well. One coat of vasoline in the morning seems to hang around for most the day.
