SET THE KILL ZONE. When setting up an ambush dictating where the fish will swim will help you to be successful. If the fish are not hunting they may not be willing to come close. Putting natural features such as kelp reefs or dense stringy weed between you and open water will force the fish into your kill zone. This video is a good example of such a tactic. Dive into dead ground unseen and lay and position yourself into a good ambush spot. Sea Bass are predatory fish and inquisitive by nature.
