great job Joe, i am learning a lot with your videos, the migration of the bass were not clear for me before but i have got it clear now. i think that your place is awesome for spearfishing but i am quite experienced spearfisher and i know that probably it is not like this everyday. probably you have a lot of days with poor visibility o not good conditions for dive. but when everything is ok and in autum.... is very magical moment. thanks for share this amazing scenes with us one day we must dive together ! have fun buddy

I read or heard somewhere that the best fishing videos or even stories are from telling the story and taking the listener or viewer and practically taking them along with you. By the time you got to the shooting of the bass I didn’t realize I was already almost 8 or so minutes in. Great job story telling and enjoy the bass!

The cressi fast is a good gun for UK waters, it is lightweight but with the twin 14 bands it packs a punch. It shoots pretty true and the cressi reel is effective. If you want to see it in action more see my video spearo life episode 9. Any other questions let me know!

Thanks Henry! Good question. I dive lots as you probably realize and the neoprene degrades with time, and compresses with depth. Late season, I sell off my suit at a fair second hand price and invest in a new one. Then I have it's best insulation for the winter and by summer it is just right. For me, the suit is the most important piece of equipment. If you feel the cold, you cannot relax and spearfish comfortably. I sometimes get 2 years out of a suit but it depends...
