1 mechanic I can think of, diseases Additionally, there is commands which were paragon based but not too long ago added to GW2 by way of Ranger shouts changed to commands so perhaps some spear skills play on commands. I also imagine that there may be command centered glyphs

For a new spin on an old take, I'm gonna say it's gonna be a well that lasts a long time, but also generates an entity that can be killed to end it early. Like throwing a totem

I bet the rangers spear is gonna be alot like the revnants underwater spear, two auto attacks, ranged and melee, a leap and 2 other skills, prolly an aoe and a flurry/multi hit

I think Ranger would be a very fitting class for the dual/mix approach to range.

@@nirsamra9016 since with mesmer we already got the rifle, which is a healing weapon but also power if ya build out for it....hoping the spear for mesmer is condi, maybe torment but definitely confusion perhaps some bleed

I never played GW1 but the yellow symbol below the Guardian (or Warrior) looks like the icons of Song/Lyric/Anthem Paragon skills (Chants). Maybe Symbols reinvented as mobile auras (e.g. Diablo Paladin)? Not sure how Chants worked.

KROOF your like the NBC nightly news of Guild Wars 2. I would be so lost on the goings on in Tyria without your videos. Unfortunately i'm only on #8 of 'My Story' so it may be a while before i get to Janthir Wilds. Looks great though.

Hoping for multiple skills from GW1 to hop over. Illusionary Weaponry (Give me tanky melee mesmer, scaled by # of clones!), Lightning Javelin, Barbed + Blazing Spear. As for new Ailments, Deep Wound looks like the #1 pick, especially with WvW rework and a new pvp mode being made. But there are others that haven't been touched yet, like Disease which could make WvW just as interesting (it would be a shame if my Tyrian Covid went rampant in your tight nit 30man WvW zurg!). xD

I am curious how some classes will use spears. Classes like Mesmer and Engineer are such an "odd" match for spears. I wonder what they will do with a spear. Also completley unrelated but I WANT MORE RANGER PETS!
