I knew it. She sucks as a character - an ugly afterthought omega-level mutant masquerading as an amalgam of Thor and Scarlet Witch. She also sucks in most games. This Storm is character accurate. Day 1 character who'll never get top tier treatment until she gets completely forgotten. Reminds me of Marvel Future Fight and MUA3. 😁

His main weakness is that he doesnt have good sustained healing over time. Good burst healing but the cooldown hurts him

I know I am ages late here. But I love the idea of Tanking in this game. And would love options to support it. But I think it's fine to make it only an option for diversified gameplay. But yeah, we badly need options and maybe better Taunt mechanics as you stated. Relic of Lyhr kind of does it, but a lot of players say it doesn't really work because it can't be precisely controlled. I think a general rework of the Stat Concentration into another damage stat could be good. Make it scale off of Toughness and Vitality and its damage type cannot crit but benefits both condi and power builds. Boon duration could be tied to different stats.

@@N.A.Kisgood No, his right click has a travel time. You still can do some animation canceling to get damage out faster.

A nice thing to get used with Jeff is always aiming slightly higher, not only his spit has physics but is a kind of a cilinder so healing is easy, but the bubbles has a huge sphere area while it falls down surprisingly fast when aiming from upclose. Plus, you get used to shudden mouse movement to heal yourself when you are attavked. As a final note, keeping always two or at least one bubble for yourself when you are targeted gives you crazy survavility if not making you almost inmortal unless dived by the whole enemy team

I used her for like half a round for the first time and I had to swap her out mid match because she was so hard for me to use because of her SLOW STUPID FLYING. Like oh my god for a wind goddess she has like no speed even with the tornado Goddess buff. And like they did her kit so dirty too😭 like she has no ice powers AT ALL. Like I want her to have hailstorms like she did in MvC2!! #FIXSTORMINMARVELRIVALS

Thanks, i was confused how this spear does so much damage, but there's a lot of small things that if you don't know, messes up, like i didnt know auto attacks and utility skills count for the 3 casts! so much easier, or the theme per skill 2/3/4 thought they are all 'random' do something. Also forgot it's ranged, might give it a try, definitely not an easy dps weapon and getting stunned on it feels more punishing then on other classes, but will try either way. Like many say this weapon was actually worked on, not rushed.

Idk if you meant worldbuilding is not that prevalent in syntri _just_ from a questing/heart/event perspective or in general, cause while i would agree with the former, i would vehemently disagree with the latter. There is tonnes of interesting stuff around, granted its mostly WM stuff, but Syntri has countless mysteries that only deepen with the "A history most violent" achievements and the notes you can uncover with those. I made and entire half hour video about the first part of the achievement and the lore behind it. The second part also digs up storylines from LW3 and probably teases what we will find in Bava Nisos when we get there. Its far from barren.

I really hope they dont take a page out of gw1s book in relation to quests. Having recently replayed it, its mostly just walk from point a to point b, with everything etched out for you so you dont need to pay attention to your environment anymore, they are ultimately boxes of texts and there are too many of them, so that 99% of them feel non important and meaningless. I tended to incidentally clear quests while vanquishing without really paying any mind to what i was truly doing there. The gw2 system does feel preferable, where you intentionally have to set out to do certain things and consciously have to look at the world around you to find out where you have to go, although i agree that the hints can be more clear, some of them have always felt actively impossible without a guide, but thats not the systems fault per se. I also agree that the visibillity is not great in gw2, though i would chalk that up to gw2 being old and a lot of newer stuff has been tacked on to systems that existed since release, like the achievement panel. It was never great, but I dont think the devs ever imagined it being this full and unmanagable.

You'll want to play Storm closer to the ground a lot of times for 2 reasons. 1. To give your allies your thunder aura's damage boost benefits 2. Because her primary attack AND her secondary attack both PIERCE. This means that they can hit every single enemy in a straight line up to the attack's furthest attack range. So for you to do actual damage, you'll need to be closer to the ground to hit multiple targets time and time again. Also Storm's empowered auras not only give additional effects (enhanced Tornado slows enemies, and enhanced Thunder deals periodic lighting strikes on all enemies in range) but it also buffs the aura effects. Enhanced Tornado aura will make you go even faster and Enhanced Thunder aura will cause even higher damage buffs. She is NOT Iron Man who can fly off and do his own thing, she is a teamplay poke character. Also, either wait until AFTER the enemy team's supports use their ults, or use your ult to force our theirs for you team.

Personal tip? Don’t fly upwards unless you absolutely need to. Storm is too slow to be above the team, and her aura is a sphere, not a cylinder. So if you fly too high up, no one gets any buffs. Her auto attack also pierces through enemies. Sit in the back of the line or follow the tank, and shoot at people who group up.

Shes good, she just isint Bullsht and Braindead like the other crayon eating characters So the moment anyone picks a character that doesnt automatically win every match for them thats cause to start crying for a buff When The reality is, every character should be this underwhelming so that they require skill training time and dedication - Not the ease of just pickup and win then start trolling and acting immature
