Hi Gem , great choice Porsche colchester are a fantastic crowd . i collected my718 GT 4 PDK in june from them, i went for understated all black including calipers , ceramics, clubsport and chrono pack, logos all silked out black so you have to be 1 foot behind car to see them , The car is sublime hope you get the satisfaction and fun i have had in the 2000 miles driven . i think the metallic viola purple will look the biz.

Not long gone through the buying process at Porsche Colchester, James was the guy whom actually presented my car, a Cayman -GTS 4.0 It appears to me that the GTS actually fits the bill better for your needs, I do not understand the your rationale for the GT4? With regards to the Specification: - AC Climate - go for this, it will effect residual values and what's another £500? - Perhaps think about further extended leather (over and above what you have) - this is for the Chrono, top part of the dash and dash ends. - Steering column in leather. - Race Tex Sun Visors (They are nasty Vinyl as standard). - To go with your chosen carbon interior the carbon illuminated sills look amazing, I have them. - Some insignia on the center arm rest looks nice. Not sure on the Frozen Berry and Yellow stitch, it's a brave choice, if the car is not a keeper and only for 3 years or so, then just think of the market, while I agree you spec the car for you, it can hurt residual values if it's not generally wanted or liked. This goes back to my first point that you are spec'ing this more like a GTS than a GT4, the comfort cars are generally not well received. Agree with PDK for the GT4, I think the GTS suits manual better. Just my two pence, you'll change your mind a few times before locking in I'm sure!

Blue looks best. Pink would affect re-sale price. But if I was buying this car I would just go with my heart

I’ve specced and saved a few configurations in ipanema blue. If you don’t go for it I will 😁 rubystar is awesome too, so much better in the flesh. 🙌

Have you considered Gemini Metallic as a blue option? Has similar pastel qualities as Frozen Berry. Or how about Viola Purple Metallic as your “punchy” option?

If you choose to get Rubystar that might save you a few quid… I heard that sometime next year (could even be in Q1 or Q2 like your car should be build) Rubystar could become a normal choose colour I think in the price range of Arctic grey and Shark blue. Of course it won’t be that rare anymore like when it was PTS but as the GT4 will likely not be build for another 3 years this could be the obvious choice to an almost like PTS rare colour but paying much less for it. At least it’s on my list of colours I still have to decide. Just wanted to let you know that fact because understandable for me the PTS price seemed a bit of a bitter pill to swallow for you 😂

Sorry don't like any of those colours. Personally I would have gone for a more conservative colour....but at the end of the day it's your car, your choice.
