Even though I never met the man, it's weird how once in awhile I find myself missing Ryan Davis terribly and watching videos like this. It sometimes feels like I lost a friend or family member, if that makes sense.

Holy shit I actually teared up at Jeff and Ryan singing together. They were best fucking friends. thick as thieves. I can't even begin to imagine how Jeff feels. Every time he finds something funny or thinks of an idea I bet he turns to tell someone about it who just isn't there anymore.

Fully - I do think Jeff has changed somewhat...I think round Ryan he could just go full Jeff.
@matthiaspuch975210 жыл бұрын
Matthew Potts The chemistry between them sometimes was pure magic. They threw verbal curveballs at each other only their specific counterpart was able to return, which often transformed normal discussions on the bombcast into hillarious, priceless moments of inpromptu comedy.

Fun fact: The Minecraft Creative Mode Song by C418 called Taswell is about Ryan Taswell Davis, so the 1st half is C418 at Ryan's funeral mourning and crying because of his death, and the 2nd half is them celebrating his life and remembering the good memories of him, which is why it sounds happy and sad, so long story short, it's a farewell song. I wonder if Ryan listens to the song in heaven.

I only listened to Giant Bomb for a short while a loooong time ago and on an irregular basis, but when I think of Giant Bomb now, I remember Ryan Davis. If there is one name that I call to mind, that I will remember from the podcast, it is his. This video shows some reasons why Ryan made everyone around him smile. Seeing the news of his death truly saddened me, even though I knew very little about him, and many others felt the same way. That's how you know you led a good life. That you had a profound effect on people. RIP Ryan. You were amazing.
