Thanks for the patience team - here's a new version of today's special that this time seems to have processed properly into 4K. I'll be deleting the old version at some point, so at a risk of being cheeky - a plea to those already viewing and commenting to re-comment below, and watch again! Cheers.

You really need to get one of those Sutton Flowform soft kites. They are usually very difficult to launch from a boat, but you have excellent launching platform high up. 3 meter kite can pull the boat faster than any motor and be very safe. When panicking you just cut the line and fish up the kite later. -- Correction: 3 meters is crazy big, it cuts fingers off. 180 cm Kap Foil 3.0 might be better. And you can string several small kites into same line.

I highly recommend to add 2Stroke Oil to your Diesel. Ratio is 200litre Diesel add 1litre 2T Oil. Let's you save at least 10% Diesel, the engine runs smoother, more power and no smoke. It lubricated the Injection Pump therefore producing more injection pressure. The modern Euro 4/5 Diesel has the lubricating Sulphur almost removed.
@jgriff32183 жыл бұрын
Would this work for other small diesel engines? My little lawn tractor could use a little more pep.
@arjunab61673 жыл бұрын
@@jgriff3218 Works for any Diesel engine, old or new injection system. You might see improvement only after it ran for a while, carbon deposits need to be burned off due to higher combustion temperature and cleaner burn.

Interesting - I'll look into it. Thanks This report isn't convinced magazine.unsealed4x4.com.au/unsealed-4x4-issue-070/ultimate-guide-to-2-stroke-oil-in-diesel-part-2

@@AlexHibbertOriginals German Lorry drivers used it in the 50's already. Our local gas tank delivery guy gave me a hug after he tried it, lorry engine ran much smoother afterwards and no smoke. Another guy with same old pick up truck told me he knows about it and won't miss mixing it in, turns out he is a car mechanic. My old ISUZU with almost 800.000 km felt like it had an engine overhoul after adding it. At times I would forget or ran out of 2T oil, my wife would remind me to buy it and add it, because she felt the difference.

Thoroughly enjoyable. Nice tourist view of bits of London for an Aussie. So, a terribly annoying suggestion, as people who don’t own lifeboats obviously know more about them than the owner of one, how about a little ladder/steps from that stern hatch that lead around to the “top deck”? Your suggestion of some sort of stability control sounds very exciting. I am looking forward to hearing more about it. PS 4K resolution was a great improvement over the original but the audio was overwhelmed at times and made you difficult to hear. Why couldn’t we smell those snags cooking? Pls turn up smellovision to 8k.
@AlexHibbertOriginals3 жыл бұрын
Thanks. Yes I considered various ladder systems. From the stern they'd need the side hatches to be closed, and up over the top of the driving console would be precarious. The option from the port side hatch is fairly easy. Thinking of a step at the bow too.

Would be possible, to use two lifeboats to creat one bigger ? And a small generator, and a eletric powerfull engine ? Sollar plates for recharge battery, and at night or when the weather isn't good, the small generator could be usefull. (Am I wrong ? ) I think that this would made this kind of boat increase the range, and this generator can provide power for a watter treatment, heat, and savatage things.
@AlexHibbertOriginals Жыл бұрын
It would also be possible to have a boat designed and built from scratch out of glass-innegra hybrid. But that would also cost me millions of pounds and completely restart the project.
