When I first found out about dependency override, I didn't know that a student who has unsupportive parents can file a dependency override, because nobody has never tell me, and even asked me about dependency override.

Hello I graduated 2020 with AA in communication now I’m working with the county, and need a certificate or AA in accounting was thinking of going back to school but they told me I need to appeal to be able to get Fafsa I appealed in 2018 SAP APPEAL which was approved because I was over Units what can I do can I still submit a SAP APPEAL or no

In my experience it's too late to appeal anything that long ago, but give it a try. You never know!

@AndyLockwood Do you have any info on student loan forgiveness programs? I've been offered it many times in the past few years but I wasnt sure how that would effect future loans as I still have a semester or two to go. Thanks in advance.

Im in the process of doing my appeal but my problem is i dont have any documentation for it which is what they want. i had to switch from regular classes to online due to covid so the work got overwhelming but i wanna go back to school bc i wanna finish college. if my appeal doesnt get approved is there a way i can pay my financial aid off and reapply for it?

Can I appeal after, even if they send me the financial aid form already with a respond date by. that is before my financial aid office appointment. The letter has a date to accept or denied and the date is before my meeting with the financial aid office to go over my income.

im thinking it depends on the semester your appealing for. if u apply for srping u should do it before so u can be approved quicker. if u dont attened and do the appeal you will have to redo it by the next semester
