Am I the only one surprised she didn't released more of a pop-rock ballad? I'm guessing she avoided it because of DC's style, Siyeon is a fan of rock and I think she used to be the vocalist of a rock band during her school years. Not that it matters, it just goes to show how amazing and versatile she is. I'm not a ballad fan, but the arrangement is so well done. I love the work Leez and Ollounder are doing with DC and now Siyeon's solo. They really know what they're doing, what they want to do. They aren't just shooting shit in the dark expecting to eventually hit something or go viral. I really appreciate the fact that there is an underlying image, plan, identity behind Dreamcatcher and I'm so happy Siyeon was allowed to work with them for her solo. She has serious control in her voice and sounds like good breathing technique. Those falsettos with vibrato gives me crazy goosebumps.
