@@asianrice219 Thomas The Tank Engine was celebrated in America in 1999. It wasn’t just a UK thing, a lot of children and audiences grew up with Thomas here in the States. So we had this video called 10 Years Of Thomas to celebrate Thomas 10th anniversary in America.

That special face kinds reminds me of the Take Along Thomas that came with the Thomas and The Jet Engine pack! He was still smiling, but it was a different smile! This one looks VERY similar to the CGI face! The red coach was later sold again with the "Thomas and The Great Festival Adventure" PC game in 2001, and the coach had "Limited Edition Festival Car" on the bottom! I had the PC game, but I didn't get the coach with it!

The two pack is nice, but I would go further by making a set that not only commemorates 10 years in America, but 15 years of Thomas and Friends all together. I say this because the first episode aired in 1984 and this was made in 1999, 15 years later. This set would have the first 11 engines and a few of their friends. Each engine, road viechle, and piece of rolling stock would be given a metallic coat of paint, each engine and road viechle would have a flip-face function, there would be a few special versions of engines, and extra engines with different flip-face functions. Engines: Thomas, Edward, Henry, Gordon, James, Percy, Toby, Duck, Diesel, Donald, Douglas, and Oliver. Rolling stock: Annie, Clarabel, Henrietta, Elsie, 4 gree express coaches, 5 of the 10 years in America coaches, 3 of the old branchline coaches, 3 Knapford express coaches, Isabel, Dulcie, Alice, Marable, 15 troublesome trucks with cargo pieces(5 coal pieces, 5 stone pieces, 2 fish crates, and 3 shipping crates), 6 troublesome break vans(salt van design), 2 tar tankers, 4 mail vans, 3 milk tankers, S.C.RUFFY, Fred, Rickety, the U.L.P. van, a banana van, the Chinese dragon, 2 oil/petrol barrel cars with oil/petrol barrels, 4 red cargo cars with presents,

The face on Thomas is supposed to be based on the one seen on the Strasburg Railroad's replica of Thomas prior to being replaced with an animatronic CGI-style face a few years back

That's a really cool commemorative pack! Nothing flashy, but hey, that's Learning Curve for you! I wish I knew about that lifetime warranty, because my Smudger is so beat up! I'm not exactly sure but Thomas coming to America was a big deal - at that point, the TV series went from a local British show to a worldwide sensation. I personally don't think they needed to make a toy out of the ordeal but companies will do anything to sell a product.
