❄️ I definitely preordered a copy of Quicksilver from Waterstones! Definitely a missed opportunity with the edges in my opinion! I’m going to try and snag the signed editions of The Bridge Kingdom from Arcane! I wasn’t lucky enough to get signed FBAA from them but was able to manage an unsigned set! 😊

Really, those edges are just meh...and it's not like they don't go all out for other books. But we're for sure getting multiple SEs of Quicksilver in the future 💯%! I got a signed copy of FBAA and I don't even know how😵i didn't know that they will sell out in literally a minute or 2!!!! That was CRAZY! Hopefully i get lucky for The Bridge Kingdom too 🙏 🤞and crossing my fingers for you to! 🤗

I personally hate the new trend for two different edge designs. You have to deal with a border on the edge of the page you're reading, and you never get to really enjoy the fore-edge. The books I own that have such a thing feel so cheap in comparison. 😢 So here's hoping that trend dies out or exists only on books that I have no interest in.

Personally the border on the edge of the pages does not bother me but i agree that we can't actually appreciate the art without bending the book (with that being said i still think it's kinda cool😁)
