I just have a question about the QT lite / mov codec. I bought some of those beginner packs but the MOV codec or converter isn’t working. I’m not able to preview the effects and it says it’s not compatible when I try. Is the QT lite a current program or is this old technology? Any ideas of why it’s not working? Thanks

I used Footagcrate, subscription based that allows access to all types of elements vs having to buy individual packs. The video files are compatible with PD and work well.

I need little bit more help on portal effects. Example: I have 2 people in one scene. Guy #1 hits guy #2 backwards. As guy #2 falls down or backwards a portal opens up behind him with a different background, then the portal closes up after guy #2 falls into it. Help please.

@@PDU_Tutorials I got the portal to open up and know how to put new back ground. What I dont know is: as guy#2 falls into portal, how to close portal with with guy #2 in it. Thus leaving only guy #1 in the original scene.

@@AJ.BridgeBuilder Place green screen on the floor where he falls. Place a duplicate clip on the Tracy below. Mask around the green screen. When the person falls onto the green screen the opacity slider in the pip designer to make him disappear.

Double left Click on the clip of the person falling and it will open the pip designer. Use keyframes and the opacity track under the preview to make the person disappear when he passes the green screen

i downloaded big films effects but when i attempt to import it into power directed it reads "file is broken and needs another format". Wondering if anyone can help me trouble shoot this issue

You need to contact bug films for assistance. Their contact info is on their site.

Big films isn't going to help you. You need software on your windows machine that converts MOV formats.

@@QariMansoorTV I didn't get mine from there. You have to find them on your own. I got mine from DigitalJuice.com which is a paid service. If you get them from somewhere else like freesound.org you have to pick your own search term / text to search for.

Hi. Recently am facing an issue in power director. I have edited mp3 by audio controller. But when I play it, audio is High in volume. Even when I reduce the volume to zero. Still it is audible. Is this an software issue. Please suggest to solve this issue.

PowerDirector 365 is the annual subscription of PowerDirector 20 or whatever the current version is. They are the same. They are clips. You do not download them. Watch the tutorials in the video description
