Solar is the leader of Mamamoo. Every member has a successful solo career (1st group to have all members chart on Billboard as solo artists while the group was still active as a unit) and they're all currently working on solo projects. Solar will promote the single and album for 2 weeks and then rejoin the cast of the musical Notre Dame de Paris (a musical theatre adaptation of The Hunchback of Notre Dame) on tour in Korea, which is her 2nd musical. She made her stage debut playing the lead in Mata Hari in 2022. Moonbyul and Wheein are in the midst of separate solo world tours. Moonbyul hasn't announced dates and locations outside of Asia yet but Wheein will do 8 shows in the US in May and June. I'm going to see her in Brooklyn on June 4. Hwasa is doing a fanmeet tour in Korea and East Asia to meet and perform for her fans, aka Twits lol (her solo debut song was called Twit). Solar's new EP Colours features 6 songs in different genres and she assigned a different color to each song. The concept is obviously to display a wide variety of musical colors. She used the Brit spelling of colours to emphasize Ours, the point being to celebrate diversity & community simultaneously. I highly recommend checking out the b-side Blues, my favorite song on the album and one of the best solo tracks of her career imo. Solar wrote or co-wrote the lyrics & music for 5 of the 6 tracks including But I. 😂 Btw I couldn't hear you and had to turn on subtitles to figure out what you were saying.

Mamamoo is the group, and all 4 members are soloists as well. Solar and MoonByul are still at the company that launched Mamamoo, so their solo work is still uploaded to the Mamamoo KZbin channel. For Mamamoo+, which is a subunit of Mamamoo, composed of Solar and MoonByul, they have a separate channel for side content, but the MVs are still uploaded to the Mamamoo KZbin channel as well.
