My wife and I loved how Brother Chidanandaji - like a family head gathering his children in times of crisis - compassionately, humbly, and lovingly comforted us and took us through the details of how Lake Shrine was spared from the terrible destruction which has sadly affected so many of our soul family in the Los Angeles area. Thank you, Brotherji, for your empathy and divine love. Your words were like a healing balm for us. God and Gurus bless the amazingly brave father, son, and daughter who protected Lake Shrine for future generations. I visited Lake Shrine a few times a month during covid. Though my stomping grounds are rooted in Encinitas, Lake Shrine became the prized jewel in my heart for contemplating and seeking the ‘state which comes from above.’ I found it very easy at LS to find that state. When I heard about the fire, my instant reaction was to pray intensely, even perhaps grieve for a loss not yet realized. But I was shaken with a strong assurance that both Guru and the prayers of many would protect this sacred ground. When I heard the story from our lead, and dear brother, I wept for joy - as to how LS was saved from this destructive fire. That this crown jewel would be preserved for many weary and energetic souls to find solace at this rest stop on the journey to the celestial city.
