@@OfficialDemego And she did some horrible things to him. She even said, after her brother had died, that she wished it had been Marshall. A toxic mother is not someone you are obligated to do ANYTHING for as an adult. It's not like she was this fantastic mother who didn't deserve any of the bitterness in his songs. She earned her way there. Plenty of teenage mothers don't act the way she did. She has herself to blame for their broken relationship. No one is accountable for the actions of another. He doesn't owe her anything.

@@PleaseGuysAKAYogaChick Listen…… guys……. I’m a jazz composer, writer, inventor…. I know absolutely very little about this rapper except he’s obviously a genius…. Ok…… I can tell you …… I know what it’s like to have your 20 year old son….. completely brainwashed by a religious cult JUST WALK OUT MY LIFE ONE FRIDAY MORNING! ….. that was 4 1/2 years ago …… not a word Since then…… my X , my 2 sisters walked out of my life for the same twisted reason….. There told…… by the delusional headquarters in New York to have nothing to do with me because of trying to expose that evil organization full of child sexual abuse hiding and pedophile toleration. No…. My family knows nothing about it….AND THERE FORBIDDEN TO CHECK OUT THE FBI CASES ONLINE. YEP….. crazy right??? Well….. the F B I is onto this CULT….. and their day in court is coming…… the delusional leadership will ALL BE IN PRISON WHERE THEY BELONG! The followers?…….. I don’t know what will happen to people who obey crazy conspiracy theorists? Maybe they will come to their senses???….. maybe not. Some “crazy “ can’t be fixed! ……lol I’ve ALWAYS been there for my family………. But….. they are strung out on this “ obey god thing”……. I don’t drink, smoke, or do drugs…. I refuse to lie, hurt, or steal. I’ve always been committed to standing for truth and light!… …. My family and son have ALWAYS known that about me…….. yet….. they were completely coerced to betray my love……. Sooo unexplainable!!!!!!!!! YET….. IT HAPPENED !!!!! …… and look what happened to me???? Honestly….. if they all came back to me tomorrow…. I would secretly……….. have trouble trusting them again…….. I hate toxicity……. Hell… I avoid horror movies and mob movies just to avoid needless conflict,killing and stress, and killing…….. I try to be a light in this world…… no.. I’m not perfect……. Sooooo, What am I saying??? Well, Life is a crazy roller coaster… All I ever wanted to do was love and be loved…… compose excellent pieces, write kick ass novels and screenplays…..and be considered…. a special person….. to find….. the love of my life…….. The trick is……. NEVER GIVE UP ON THAT GOAL….. as long as spring comes around each year……. We humans must try….. to BELIEVE in the cycle of life. …… and…… here I am at 67 … not doing bad….. but…. Absolutely no one to share it with…… I’m not bitter though…. I’m healthy, look 20 years younger than I feel….. and take care of myself….. AND….. MOST OF ALL!!!! consider myself lucky to have come this far….. MUSIC, MOVIES, AND BABIES STILL MELT MY HEART…. Lol Sooooooo, What Ms. Mather’s did??… Probably fucked up bad with E. Okay……. But….. it’s OVER NOW….. She was obviously wrong…. She knows it…. He knows it….. ….. time goes by…. Years become decades….. WISDOM SHOWS UP….. WE FINALLY REALIZE…… we’ve awaken from…… a nightmarish past…. …… and we’ve hurt people… BADLY!!!!…… Now….. we…. The victim…. Must find out if they are sincere…… AND LET THEM OFF THE HOOK! GOD WANTS THAT FOR THEM….. and us…….. SO NOW WHAT??? Well…. Life is about WALKING AWAY FROM THE INSANE SHIT…… and…… somehow… Finding a way….. somehow… To HOLD THAT PERSON IN YOUR ARMS AND SAY…. ITS ALRIGHT …. I FORGIVE YOU COME…. CRY ON MY SHOULDERS…… IVE LET IT GO. I’m not healed from my son and sister’s walking out of my life…… but…. I know there “ minds “ aren’t there own! So….. I must find a way to FORGIVE…… if they truly never come out of their fog!!!! I must go forward…. with PEACE…in my heart. It’s really the ………… only reason we exist!! TO FINALLY PUT REVENGE DOWN…… it’s pure evil. LOVE MUST WIN HERE IN THIS UNIVERSE. I’m no longer religious…. But…. I certainly believe in a creator. I pray every day that I can rise higher and higher….. to let the hater’s hate…….. but … I embrace LOVE!!!! ….. that’s the only way to exist on this planet……. by….. Saying a tearful prayer for strength to love….. and …. Just………… let it all go. And….. that good ole healing can begin. Sounds completely CORNY…. …… but … it’s the only way to get OFF….. the roller coaster. And .. Find …. the real life.🕯 Love you guys…. Peace to you. 🎼RAIN AGAIN 🎼

@virginiaviola5097
@virginiaviola5097 3 ай бұрын
@@MichaelS00 it is. It is a very real thing. If you don’t know that then you are a very fortunate person. If a person’s childhood is traumatic it leaves scars, and inevitably those behaviours repeat. Not always, but often. Poverty, unemployment, family violence, substance abuse, abandonment issues, divorce, missing parents, neglect, loss of self-esteem.. it’s all established early and sadly the cycle is repeated in adulthood. You can certainly see that very early on in Marshall’s career, but he switched things up for Haley. Because even money isn’t enough to repair a damaged childhood and the way it raises its ugly head in adulthood. Kurt Cobain, John Lennon in his ‘20’s, Sinead O’Connor just to name a couple of famous people. Then there’s the tragedy of being Black in America..Marvin Gaye, Whitney Houston, Rick James…. and that’s only a few famous people. There are millions of people who are just stuck in an endless cycle that gets handed down, generation after generation. I wish that you were right, but reality says you aren’t. My own life experience and my own exposure to the world also says you aren’t.

I keep coming back to this vid because there’s something so sad about how Marshall realized how much he loves his mom but the trauma and pain she caused him (that even to this day at 51 years old) still hasn’t gone away is really devastating… On headlights he said he’ll always love her from afar but isn’t really comfortable with fully having her in his life. He broke the cycle and seeing him with his family that he build in those lions games really is heartwarming ❤️ that’s all a little boy needed man

Long story made short, and family drama aside.. she seems to genuinely love him and be very proud of her kiddo. He really didn't have a chance at Life and worked hard and made his dreams come true. His mother didn't have a fair chance at Life either but I hope they can push the past aside. Forgiveness doesn't have to mean having a relationship. It means you no longer consider a debt owing. You don't hold it against them. It means you are no longer angry for what they did. It's very much needed healing for the forgiver. You can forgive without maintaining a relationship.

I feel so bad for Marshall‘s mother, because in many ways I am her. I get it. I had to move my children Michigan from the Detroit area and moved us to Arizona when the girls were 13 because I don’t want them to live the lake that I lived. I was an alcoholic for most of the life and made poor choices but I always put them first and worked my best to make sure that they had a good life. I’ve been sober now for 15 years and I can tell you those generational curses run so deep, but somewhere, somehow someone has to step up and begin to break them. I’m glad I was able to do that from my family. And I’m sure that Marshall‘s mother was able to. She would have two. Live in this life isn’t something that we choose. It’s something that we just get going into and shit happens before we can put the brakes on.

I am grateful this woman brought him into the world. His pain made him who he is . Grateful for the gift we get to experience to spite the horrors he had to live through. I hope he's found a way to heal. ❤

@@JonathanGonzalez-jz4td i read her book. Its a very good book. According to that Em made up a lot of stuff up,.... which i beleive is true(but i still love Em). On the other hand she writes as if she didnt do anything at all wrong, which i doubt as well. Both kind of made lies about each other from what i understood......... but there were a lot of difficulties for both of them, mainly cos of Kim. But as a fan, i was most happy for him when he made "headlights" and he patched things up somewhat.

She literally drugged Em as a child! A lot happened but he choose to forgive & make peace with it on his song Headlights for her. Your talking about normal upbringings when this is an abusive one & in no way should you ridicule a child victim of parental abuse to feel bad for what you assume they did to their abuser.
